italianchef
Tonight I visited Kings Island with a friend after work. We got there at 6 p.m. and watched "Twistin' to the 60s", which was cute. It was the first time I saw the show. The dancing was impressive, but the musical score could've been better. Next we ate dinner at Panda Express - and it was my first time there. I had spicy chicken with vegetables and chow mein noodles. The dish wasn't awesome, but pretty darn good. I was impressed with the food temperature and seasonings. I'd eat there again. Afterward, we ran to see "Endless Summer on Ice" - also my first time seeing it. This show greatly impressed me. The skating was fantastic! I reckon the older skaters were professionals - and I identified with the older performers because at 35, I'm no spring chicken. Also, I much rather look at older than younger women. Additionally, I was happy to see Yogi Bear and Scooby Doo, though their appearances were brief. The we hit the rides. First came Top Gun and we rode in the front car, enjoyed a beautiful view of the Great Wolf Lodge, and my eyes teared from the wind. Next came Adventure Express, a charming, well-themed, but not very exciting ride. Then we rode the forwards Racer - and in the front car. It was an awesome ride and the wind made me tear. We rode Flight of Fear next and then The Beast. After that, we rode Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle and I got my highest score ever. After that, 10 p.m. hit, so we watched the fireworks show - which was magnificent - and then left. It seems to me that I can do much more at Kings Island on a Friday night than either a Saturday or Sunday. Have a great weekend! CoastersRZ
I too was at the park tonight. I arrived around 8:30, and was able to grab rides on Top Gun, Backwards Racer, Flight of Fear, Vortex and The Beast. Not bad for only ninety minutes in the park! Crews were busy inspecting the cables of Drop Zone when we went off to ride Top Gun for the first ride of the night.
screamslikeagirl
We watched the 60's show too. We only caught it about halfway through but my daughter LOVED it.
