June 27, 200719 yr Is anyone on here going to HHN? I will be there and not feel bad at all about missing Fearfest that week.
June 29, 200719 yr Author Just an update guys... I was speaking with Jim Timon today, the senior vice president of entertainment for Universal Parks & Resorts, and he told me that US has partnered with NewLine for and oppurtunity to bring the NL monsters to HHN!!! What's this mean? This means that your favorite horror icons; Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface; all will be "shredding" it up at HHN this year! More can be found at halloweenhorrornights.com! -Hauntguy
June 29, 200719 yr Author Jim didn't mention anything to me about that but my guess would be just one! But, US is full of surprises... but as soon as I know, you'll all know! -Hauntguy
July 26, 200719 yr Author ***UPDATE*** Universal Studios has announced that both Orlando and Hollywood theme parks will recieve a "haunting" transformation this Oct. once again. The theme for this year "Carnival of Carnage"... and rumors are swirling with a return of Jack the Clown! US is playing it off as a "new" character called the Ringmaster (no, not your friendly KIC member)... but some ENT. folks at US Orlando have said this is merely a "dressed up" Jack! You can go to the newly update HHN site for more info: www.halloweenhorrornights.com Happy Haunting! -Hauntguy PS: On the website if you click on the upper right corner with the fancy lettering "JS"... your find a cool secret part of the site! Have fun!
July 26, 200719 yr Click on Carnival of Carnage and then right click and zoom in one level to see the embedded images. You have to really look at it and you will start to see them. The easy ones to make out are on the pole. The hard is like the child standing in front and to the right of the tent. They have stuff like this on their site every year and most probably can't see it.
August 20, 200718 yr Author ***UPDATE*** Hey guys, Universal has revealed a press photo from one of the new attractions... take a look: http://www.screamscape.com/html/uo_-_hhn_xmas_0.htm The photo is from a scene in "Silent Night, Psychotic Night"... a Christmas gone wrong kind of house. Kind of looks like a play out of the KI book!!! I guess we'll see how it works out for Universal this year! -Hauntguy
August 20, 200718 yr It only makes sense that Universal has an incredible haunt event. You see, unlike Fear Fest at Kings Island, it is a separate charge attraction.

"Carnival of Carnage" and "The Ringmaster"? Are they doing the whole ICP "Dark Carnival" theme this year? BTW - Those are ICP's first 2 albums in case anyone didn't know.
August 20, 200718 yr It is a big charge as I just bought tickets and Express Passes for 280 bucks for two.
August 20, 200718 yr Author ^ And it draws a HUGE crowd... maybe KI should try an upcharge again! -Hauntguy
August 21, 200718 yr If my memory serves me correct didnt fearfest used to be a seperate charged attraction to?
August 21, 200718 yr Yeah it was up until 2002. I think it became free in 2003. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
August 21, 200718 yr ^Yes, I believe you are correct. I still have my ticket stub from the original 2000 Fearfest. I think it cost somewhere around 25 bucks, which pales in comparison to the HHN prices.
