In 2018 Kings Island was open on New Year’s Eve. With Winterfest rides running till almost midnight, (rides not certified for the next year past that time) a live band, DJ, New Year’s Eve Lounge and a fireworks display. It’s a wonderful way to bring in the new year.

In 2019 Kings Island added additional fireworks to the buildings on International Street.
