  1. I talked with him just now. I showed him this picture, and he said "yea, thats it". 1952 model. I wrote down the MXX231 number and told him to see if thats whats on it. He says he has the title for it, and it "starts and runs" but that was likely 20-30 years ago. He also said he once had a 3rd bus but sold it years ago. I asked him if he would be interested in selling it, as I've had a few inquiries over the years about it, and he said he would. I told him I could come over and photograph it for him. So, if anyone out there is SERIOUS about purchasing this bus, get with me. May or may not be the MXX231, but its definitely a 50's British double decker bus that may be in running condition.
  2. Doesn't mean they won't re-use the name like they did The Bat.
  3. Oh ok. I will also be passing by Michigan's adventure so Im going to plan that into my trip
  4. No brainer then since I'm going to Cedar Point this summer for 2 days. I also have dining plan.
  5. OK thanks. Looking to go to Cedar Point this summer. Will it get me into both Cedar Point and the water park there?
  6. I've searched and searched, couldn't find the answer. I have a 2019 gold pass. Would like to go platinum. Do I just pay the difference of $85 and upgrade, or do I have to do something different?
  7. If I buy a 2019 pass with meal deal (not renewal) can I use the meal deal in 2018?
  8. They had it at Soak City last year. Same event, just a new name. and the addition of the dog days.
  9. My brother said he got 2012 season passes for $49.99 at the GE employees day. He's is NOT a GE employee either.
  10. Someone mentioned some sort of musical attraction in its place. That's my guess. Seems pretty late in the season to get started on anything major.
  11. Hope this hasnt been posted yet. If so, I diddnt see it http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=530259127005845&set=a.450115751686850.107627.201668799864881&type=1&theater Its Jungle Jim looking up at the water tower in Action Zone. 12. I tried twice, sat on hold for 5 minutes before getting frustrated and hanging up. I'll try again.
  13. I did a renewal using buy now pay later back in December and I do have the vouchers. Guess I have to get them processed.
  14. We all had 2011 gold passes and did the renewal online. Forgot to mention that. Do I still have to go early for processing?
  15. I have a 2011 gold pass and did the buy now pay later deal for this year. Do I need to go before opening day for processing? My 4yo and wife have the same pass. Can I process their passes for them or do they have to be present?
  16. True. But they must have had multiple busses over the years. My boss would not lie about it, trust me. He said he bought them from KI when it was owned by Taft. Maybe this weekend I will look for something inside that might have KI written on it.
  17. OK here are 2 pics Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  18. OK, but again, they advertised a " t-rex sized bag of candy " and all we got was a Chiwawa sized one. This, along with all the other overhyped attractions, has left me dissapointed in the whole experience.
  19. I understand what your saying, but the reason I "felt" this was coming to me is because it was advertised in exact words by Kings Island themselves. What if KI advertised a roller coaster to be one of the fastest and wildest around, but you get there and its no faster or calmer than The Beastie?
  20. I don't know if I had too high of expectations or what, but I went to Haunt a few weeks ago and was really let down. It seems to me that they were going for quantity over quality on the haunted attractions. There were so many of them, and the ones I saw werent really any good. Mysteria was dumb, just a few guys in tights staring at you while you walked through a giant cage filled with fog, holliday horror wasnt scary at all, urgent scare was so-so, the props were cheap looking, carnevil was OK. None of the "mazes" were "mazes". There was no way to get lost as your supposed to in a maze. You know, take a wrong turn and end up at a dead end. It was all just a quick run through with no thought as how to go through. and the midgets were boring! They talk about watching a midget bleed, but I did not see one drop of blood. I was expecting them to smear it all over each other or something. And they went about their show very slowly, each move was setup extremely slowly which made it seem even more setup than it really was, and they warned of curse words and what not, I diddnt hear them hardly speak at all, I was expecting loud profanity and flying blood. It was weak. The commercials and website hype everything up to be so scary and gory, but I diddnt see that at all. Also, I was very let down with the trick or treat with the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs were pretty neat, but the trick or treat part was a big let down. Again, the commercials and site hyped up the trick or treat with the exact phrase "Your kids will collect a t-rex sized bag of candy". There were maybe a dozen or less trick or treat stations, and my daughter got probably 4 or 5 pices of candy. One station gave out a cardboard flyer for the movie terra nova. Another station gave a pin with terra nova on it. Another station gave a haunt souviner cup which was nice, one gave an apple which was OK i guess. And half way through it my daughter wanted to leave because she was tired of walking and a little scared (shes 4). Am I expecting too much, or does anyone else feel the same way?
  21. Anyone mention the characters from Phantom Theatre on display for Haunt?
