  1. They continually spout the same information about it being the longest and it going 68 mph but completely neglected to include the height as if it is somehow irrelevant. I care more about its height than its speed. I can't believe I can't find any height listing on the webpage, not even a stats section.
  2. They are announcing a ride at 10 PM (Eastern)? I'd understand somewhat if it was totally an electronic announcement with all of the info being released online, but I thought they were going to do a physical press conference at the park today for it. Why in the hell would they wait until 10 to do so? Seems a bit strange...
  3. I can't tell much difference at the construction site between now and May 21 when other pics were taken.
  4. What's wrong with evil and creepy?
  5. Really? Kumba is regarded as one of the best in the world? I'll give you Beast and even Maverick, but I don't feel like Kumba is considered such. Maybe I'm wrong, though...
  6. Screamscape is garbage. Ouimet already said no CF parks are getting wingriders in 2014.
  7. This is the type of coaster I've always dreamed of. Essentially a giga coaster but 400+'. I highly doubt it will happen and am even dubious of a giga next year, but I'd love either one. I'm thinking either a dive machine or an invert at this point. An invert would be great if there was something fresh to it.
  8. I really hope it's not a wing coaster. In my opinion, they aren't special enough for one to be put in KI a year after one goes in at CP 200 miles away. Also, does anyone remember when the name "Banshee" was initially given to Mantis at CP and then changed because there was some controversy over what the meaning of a Banshee is? If they do name the ride this, what's to say it won't get the same controversy and have to be changed again?
  9. Hey, it could've produced young spawn before it died? If the kids get rougher as the lineage goes along, I'm sure we'll all be dead by the first rides on Project 2014.
  10. Alright, as long as you're capable of telling the difference between an Intamin and a B&M ride, it's not really important what the manufacturer's names are if it doesn't interest you. I thought some weren't able to even tell the difference between an Intamin and a B&M.
  11. The distinction between Intamin track and B&M track could not be any more obvious. Since these two companies are undoubtedly the most relevant coaster manufacturers anymore, they're the only ones to pay attention to, and the appearance of the track (I-305 being an Intamin exception) have their own looks. I personally don't understand how you couldn't spot the difference if asked to do so. It's not even about knowing what manufacturer name is attached to which ride type, you could just look at say Mantis at CP and know it's Track Type 1 (B&M) and look at Millennium Force and call it Track Type 2 (Intamin). If you could not even distinguish the difference between these two, you would have serious trouble distinguishing between let's say a circle and a square.
  12. Not being able to distinguish B&M track from Intamin track is like not being able to distinguish an apple from an orange.
