  1. Since some people like the roar and some hate it, I think they should separate all the track pieces and only place it in certain ones to create a somewhat neutral chopping/helicopter noise as the train flies past.
  2. Makes me wonder if Banshee will look like Raptor after the first year. You know how the first loop looks? On the top it's full of bird poo. The poop on Raptor has become part of the paint scheme, but it's bizarre that it only happens to that ride. Perhaps its the shade of green...
  3. How is that? They got this coaster 20 years ago. I couldn't agree more - there's no reason to be jealous because both parks are close to each other and part of the same family. Also, I take back what I said earlier about being disappointed. Banshee looks amazing!
  4. I feel and hope that there's something more to it than the length record.
  5. I'm not really disappointed, but rather baffled by the fact that they started this "massive" project so early and are saying its a world record breaker, only for it to have the edge in length. I sincerely hope it's more than that.
  6. ^^ I wish I could do that, but I've said it before and I'll say it again - over 300 miles of land separate me from KI
  7. I can't believe that after all these interminable months of speculation, off-topicness and drudgery, the announcement is tomorrow. Enjoy today my fellow members, for it may be the last day before the announcement of a record breaking roller coaster at Kings Island for a few years!
  8. I don't bash on Patriot at all. Although it may not fit in well at Cedar Fair's top parks, I think it is perfect for WOF.
  9. See Patriot again. The base to walk up the lift comes directly from the station to the lift. This is also true for Silver Bullet, but neither of them feature as large of a turn as the blueprints for our coaster suggest...
  10. There was the rumor that this was part of a 3 year plan.....I know you are in love with a giga, but If you had to pick between a giga, a strata, and an El Toro type woodie, what would you take? I would take a terracoaster
  11. I agree completely - Kings Island's PR department truly is one of the best in the industry, but I can't rank them above the park that is home to the coaster that is my namesake
  12. I don't think it's very likely those stats have any relevance to the real ride, but I'd be okay with that. Although the drop could be a little steeper.
  13. No Camping! EDIT: Gosh darn it! This happens to me ALL the time!
  14. ^ You must've missed it... Never mind
  15. ^ I agree - compared to Gatekeeper last year, KI has done a good job of keeping this a secret, and stumping us a few days prior to the announcement.
  16. I'm still putting my money on a giga, sort of...
  17. I'm sure they got their decoding information from Screamscape....the source of accurate decoding information for everything coaster. They should have spent 10 hrs just reading this thread!!Well, if they average about 8 seconds per post, that would've taken them nearly a day at 22 hours!
  18. On the Mindbender at SFOG, a turn IS a loop. ;-)Thats her favorite coaster
  19. When the media refers to loops, it could mean anything. In fact, my science teacher two years ago thought the turns on the roller coaster in my science fair project were considered loops!
  20. I wish I could see, but of course I've been exiled to a land over 300 miles away...
  21. It actually ain't that small because the chart said every inch of track = one hundred ft. There was easily over 50 inches of track drawn If those are B&M's blueprints, wouldn't the measurements be in metrics since they're in Switzerland? Also, how could someone possibly have access to the real ride blueprints. This has to be fake. Blue prints are public and these were drawn up in Cincinnati Indeed. I apologize for not reading further before posting
