  1. So, I recant my statement about that bent being for the lift, that is clearly for the first drop. Lol (from my earlier post about the bent being built.) Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. Yes that is true, I'm sure they can come open with something Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. They could mount it to a tree! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  4. I am a structural designer with a company in Cincinnati as well. It really is a small world. I have a dream of one day opening my own firm for steel coster design, but I have to go back to school for that lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. Well just to the left bottom corner on the screen looks to be a tall lift hill bent Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  6. They do have enough footings done that they could cover with the landscape fabric and gravel once they get done covering then with dirt. There is enough done for a truck load of gravel, I think Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. If this helps, they are doing an assembly line type deal. They cleared the part that would take the longest, the started footings in the area closest to the guest (for public relations reasons) and then working on the track In a way they are doing it in order but you can have multiple trades working at the same time. But the biggest factor is the publics eye, they want to see it go up fast so they will start and heavily work on the section that is seen from the midway. If that makes sence Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  8. Sorry for the double post but circled in red is what I was talking about with the track work. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  9. The catwalk has been there since last week. They were putting the tread bars on it Friday. And if you look at it on a desk top or larger laptop, just above DB second incline you can see what appears to be a parallel running boards. I'll add a picture later.
  10. I think track work has started on the bottom of the first drop.
  11. Those holes are too far apart to be for footings on a wooden coaster to me. I could be wrong though, but it looks like they were drilling to place steal columns like that did by the rail road tracks.
  12. Looks like they are starting to extend the footings trenches for the first drop this morning.
  13. And about that post hole digger, has anyone given any thought about how the area will be drained during a storm? Where it is currently would be the best area for the drainage because it run into an existing drainage system for wwc. And any project of this size will have to have a drain system to prevent flooding.
  14. Hey, if you look at the DB Webcam you can see where the footings are heading into the olfactory funnelcake stand area. I'm pretty sure it is going to cross the railroad tracks.
  15. Wooden coasters take a lot less time to build compared to a steel one and they can also continue to work in some weather that steel workers can't. So I'm not not surprised at the current rate of work or when they started the work. But on another note, has anyone noticed the shed that is being built by the basea of the lift. Maybe the motor room?
  16. I think they do because they would have to handle the extra weight that is over top of the train tracks
  17. I would say that is right next to the train tracks. It looks like that might be the foundation slab for the bride going over the train
  18. I wonder what the chances are that they might set up a temporary Web cam that moves as the construction does?
  19. Thank you this is great and exactly what I was looking for!
  20. Hey, can someone how is good at photo shop or simular program do an overlay for the construction site camera and the layout (prints) so we can see how the layout in terms of where they are working?
  21. Did you guys notice that the footings on the ground are three rows, yet in the animation and renderings there are only two in that section? And in the blue prints there are three but not in the same patter/locations.
  22. It has not been confirmed by the park that it will be used for the construction. But it is on the big old box facing the west right at the construction site
  23. Looks like more concrete work was done today.
  24. Is anybody going to the park that can get some pictures?
  25. Hey, guys how all is at the park and in line. Me and my fiancée would like to meet up
