So this week at Kings Island is Kick Cancer week(Im sure most of you already know that). But for those of you who didn't know now you do! You have to love when people come together for a good cause. So anyone who stops by this week take time to spend $5 (if you have the extra cash, lord knows we spend more than $5 every time we are at the park on some stupid stuff) and kick a ball into the fountain(pretty fun actually) Not only does the money go to a great cause but you also get a chance to win a sharp looking Honda. I'll leave you with a picture of the Eiffel Tower colored pink for obvious reasons. I absolutely love the color schemes they do with the tower and how they change it accordingly with the holidays and special events. Sent from Me using Tapatalk

Decoding Episode 2.5: BONUS ROUND! Second Announcement!
DubVLegend replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
Or maybe that intamin .Well before the teases and hints start coming and I got nuts again I'll put in my wishes for this announcement. I hope that we see them get some use out of Action Theatre or the Crypt building(yes I know there's a haunt there but it could be moved or something) The crypt building imo is capable of too much just to use for a very short period of the year. I also noticed while on The Racer it seemed like I seen some new things had been pulled out of AT which has from the looks of it turned into a storage unit. Granted that could be for numerous reasons(retrieving somethings from storage they are about to use etc) but I hope maybe they are beginning to clear it out for something special. Sorry I don't have pictures to support what I saw but as you know taking pictures from any of the viewpoints is prohibited. Sent from Me using Tapatalk -
No sir we were in the park today wearing our new Mystic Timbers shirts(love the logo and colors by the way) and we're constantly stopped by employees wanting to see the shirts and some who didn't even know the name. We were going to pick up a couple more shirts for gifts but were told the only way to get one now is to come back in spring 2017 Edit: ok well even though a park employee told us you couldn't get the shirts any more they are definitely still selling them at the little shop by The Beast of anyone wants to pick one up. Ok my final thoughts on the announcement. I'm still as excited as before! I do like the name. I feel some people were kind of let down because the name wasn't more intimidating but I do believe the name will grow on everyone. Imo the best part of the announcement was the opening video. The production was amazing and it was super impressive watching nature slowly take over the park and I was in love with the way the Eiffel tower sprouted into the Giant Tree of life. I could watch that video over and over(and have done so quite a few times =) As for the ride, 16, let me say it again 16 air time hills, extreme S turn, and 3k+ feet of track whipping in and out of trees and water and over the train and wwc sounds great to me! And then we have the shed. Hard to tell what they have up their sleeves there but I don't believe they will disappoint on this one(I'm sure they know everyone's feelings about AE) I expect some top of the line theming and hope to be chased out of the shed by the revenging nature. Now I'm aware some were upset that the shed wasn't revealed but I'm excited with the fact that I've seen a good part of the coaster but when I ride it the first time there will still be a surprise. Now on to my second favorite part of the announcement.... The other announcement that was announced coming in August. We are already awaiting a great new coaster(to those doubters get back to me after you ride it) but they have something else for us announcement worthy in store for next year too! I mean come on if that doesn't excite you in the least your probably in the wrong forums. It's already looking like a Best Year in 2017 when KI will celebrate their 45th. The Splintercat appears in the book The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles by Julie Andrews Edwards. This particular Splintercat answers to the Prime Minister of Whangdoodland and also enjoys playing Cat's Cradle. Read more: http://www.monstropedia.org/index.php?title=Splintercat#ixzz4FdkyInlJ -

Ok so Ive done some more reading on Splintercats. After reading from a couple different pages the really emphasize the Splintercats speed. Maybe a woodcoaster speed record? The splintercat is a nocturnal feline animal of great ferocity. It charges with terrific speed and when it hits a large tree, it knocks the branches off, withers the trunk and leaves it standing like a silvery ghost. These dead snags can be seen in many parts of the Pacific Northwest. The splinter cat performs this feat that it is named after to expose sap and honey from beehives to eat. However, advised to never approach a splintercat the act of breaking open trees with its head leaves it with a constant headache, which causes it always to be in a foul mood. Accordingly, one is advised to never approach a splintercat. Found that at http://ficspecies.wikia.com/wiki/Splintercat There are a couple different concepts for what splintercats look like as well. Im glad Don picked the one he did. There are some weak ones out there. -

I know right. Could still be good clues though. The barrels could indicate barrel rolls. I don't know but can't wait to find out! ^^^^ to the guy who doesn't like the name did you read about the splintercat yet? Sent from the future while riding #KIProject2017 using Tapatalk -

So Splintercat it is. I believe someone said that pretty early on. So just for a good read guys check this out http://www.splintercat.org/SplintercatMainFolder/Splintercat/StoryOfTheSplintercat.html As woodsmen know, the splintercat is a nocturnal feline animal of great ferocity. It flies through the air with terrific speed and when it hits a large tree, it knocks the branches off, withers the trunk and leaves it standing like a silvery ghost. -

Shouldn't have many problems. There may be one or two you may not get to ride at most. Of course you may need to get a female perspective on it as well. Sent from the future while riding #KIProject2017 using Tapatalk
