Following up on the Christmas buffet, can anyone give me some examples of the side dishes and desserts that were available? Unfortunately I've been dx with Celiac 2 weeks before my birthday trip to Winterfest on the 23rd, when the buffet was supposed to be the highlight of the trip! More for the view, but now I'm lost on what I'll even be able to eat there! I plan to call the park, but thought you all might have some insight/reviews. TIA!

No sense in weighing in until the moment of truth, I suppose, but I can say this: 1. If MT lightens lines at The Beast, particularly at night, I'll be happy. Not sure how the dynamics of that are gonna play out, but if so, cool. 2. Good for KI if they can build a coaster that once I've had a chance to ride it a few times would even make me think of returning to this discussion! I just remember first riding The Voyage a couple of years ago and being totally surprised by it--my first thought when exiting was, "this might be better than The Beast." But, on second thought, The Voyage might be what The Beast was to me when I was a kid riding it for the first few times--a complete and total onslaught of the senses. A total knockout. A surprise. If KI can get me to that place with MT, more power to them! I cannot wait to be able to give my post-ride review!

Thanks @IndyGuy4KI! We are local, so we always have a way to bail if we need to do so. But, I don't expect that because our kids are used to early mornings and late nights with lots of activities, including KI. I really think she'd like it. It seems like you can come and go if you like, right? I mean, if we skipped something we could just meet back up with the group at the next activity?

New to the forums! (How did it take me this long to join?!) Hello all! I am considering taking my DD (who turns 8 on May 17) to Coasterstock as her gift. She crested 48" last year and has done every coaster that has come her way since then. Pretty sure she's at 52" now, so that opens us to even more options! She's also very curious and would love behind-the-scenes stuff and scavenger hunt, etc. What do you think? Would she enjoy? Do other littles ever attend? She'd be okay as the only kid, but would she be welcomed? Thanks for any perspectives/advice!
