One thing I thought of is this drop would be only like 5 feet shorter than Leviathans drop which I've watched povs of Leviathan and the drop looks amazing on that, so I'm guessing you won't notice too much of a difference between this and Leviathans drop.

265 feet is the lower deck. 275 feet is the top deck. 296 feet is about 20 feet higher than where you are standing on the tower if on the top deck. If on lower deck, it's about 30 feet higher. I'm guessing this giga and WindSeeker from viewpoint would look about the same height wise.

I wonder if they will classify it as a hyper or a giga coaster. YouTube comments seem to be mixed. I'm leaning towards giga because the drop is 301 feet and the park stated they asked CF for a giga coaster. So it's basically "they asked for a giga, they got a giga!" Simple.

If I remember correctly, GateKeeper didn't really have a teaser campaign. I think the only teaser was on Disaster Transport's final mission poster where it had the light blue feather logo talking about the future.

They'd market it as a 301 foot drop if I were to take a guess. Heck, maybe they'll just say it's 301 feet tall when only the drop is 301 feet tall.

Speaking of theming for this coaster, I hope they go all out in theming for this kinda like Copperhead Strike. The Quonset hut in the queue says prop building on the blueprints, so hopefully that means some type of prop. Like maybe a spacecraft prop could be inside it. Maybe could be part of the reason they aren't going all out in the coaster stats and layout because of them spending a good amount of money on the theming.

I'm sure opening weekend for this ride will be crazy busy if the weather is nice like the openings for the last two coasters. I wonder if they'll use the chaos building as an overflow queue like how they used the crypt building for MT. But that probably won't be enough. If I were to take a guess, the line will stretch to the Eiffel Tower.

Speaking of illegal activity at the park, I found this YouTube vlog from this well known YouTube family vlogging channel. It was uploaded like a week ago and mainly consists of them filming parts on rides. Let me say I was not happy when I saw it.

If we get a Mack coaster, I would love for it to be something like Blue Fire at Europa Park. But with a double launch and not a MCBR.

I saw a guy yesterday run up onto the off the charts stage before the show and sat behind the drum kit to get a picture. Let me say the sound guy wasn't happy and got him off the stage quick, but he wasn't ejected from the park.

There are plenty of GP who know what is going on. WCPO has been reporting on this topic for a while now. I actually have ran into people on the tower who were there to see the construction because they saw it on the news. And I also have friends at the Rock school in Mason I go to who have talked about the new coaster. But GP being GP they sometimes ask when it's going to open. My answer is always "it should be open when the park opens in April of 2020."

I'm just hoping the announcement is at 10 pm and not midday.

If I had my way we'd be getting an RMC next. Imagine opening this giga coaster and then they shock us a few years later and put in a monstrous RMC.

Parks have done teasers even if the blueprints were leaked. Copperhead Strike we pretty much knew was coming before teasers started.

I'm sure this coaster will pack a punch! Shorter coasters tend to pack a punch.

On that Polaris video @DustinTheNow made that was posted on Amusement Insiders, I've seen several comments I just laugh at. One of them is " look, they painted Diamondback blue."

I'm thinking a lot of it will be when the teasers start and hype everyone up. Yes, we will have island nights and maybe some other things, but I think very soon, the focus will turn to teasing for the big addition next year.

They do it all the time. I think they've used Kings Dominions Drop Tower in a commercial before.
