  1. I believe they cancelled the conference because they knew that they would be bombarded with questions about the Six Flags thing and they don't want to talk about it right now.
  2. Things can be delayed though. I believe Yukon Striker was delayed a few years. I still believe CGA will eventually get their hyper.
  3. I'm starting to really doubt Cedar Fair will sell their company. I believe if anything they'd just sell a few smaller parks. I don't believe they would sell Kings Island or Cedar Point. Definitely not Cedar Point. Plus, Cedar Fair has been pouring a lot of money into Kings Island lately so I don't think they would sell it. Also, I believe there is always rumors of companies buying out other companies. Like last year with the Six Flags buying out SeaWorld rumors and Merlin buying out the Busch Gardens parks. I'm starting to doubt this would happen. I definitely don't think Cedar Fair would sell Cedar Point. Also with them really wanting to build up CGA and Carowinds I don't think they'd want to sell those either.
  4. I hope if a merge happens, it would mean larger investments in some of the current Six Flags parks. Heck maybe it would mean Magic Mountain fanboys would get a giga coaster that the current Six Flags model can't do.
  5. Weren't there talk last year about Six Flags interested in buying SeaWorld? That didn't happen. I kinda doubt Cedar Fair would want to sell their biggest parks like Cedar Point and Kings Island.
  6. The thing I would approve of is a merge. Like Cedar Fair still runs the parks the way they are and they also upgrade the Six Flags parks too. I would not approve of Six Flags themselves just running the parks. That would be a mistake. I say what should happen if something is reached is Cedar Fair keeps running the biggest parks and maybe gives Six Flags the smaller parks.
  7. I made a petition to try and make this not happen. http://chng.it/KmLPyd2r5B
  8. I was thinking. What if (it doesn't have to be in 2020) they move the maintenance/storage area to the back behind Orion where that one building that was built this year is and they turn that area where the current buildings are into an Area 72 interactive area. Think of Forbidden Frontier, but with an Area 51/space/military theme. They could even keep the current buildings and paint them and put activities and stuff in them. Maybe even have an escape room.
  9. A Soak City cam I don't think would happen. It would be kinda creepy imo.
  10. And if KI replaces Vortex with a coaster, they'll probably shift the Diamondback webcam over to that area for construction.
  11. The more I think about it, I think a B&M flyer would look really cool there! B&M flyers are very picturesque rides. They could have it go close to the midway like most other flying coasters and it would look very cool.
  12. Uh Oh! Someone got pulled over! Probably was like us trying to look at the track lol
  13. I'm excited to see them working during the winter. I rewatched some Amusement Insiders Yukon Striker construction videos and I love the ones where they are working during a snowfall.
  14. It looks like it's right in front of the drop footer.
  15. It's just a nice feature imo to have a section go close to water.
  16. @Maverick44 you'll love this! I made an Intamin blitz coaster taking the spot of Vortex! I give you Mustang!
  17. I posted this in The Vortex replacement thread, but I really like this Mack concept I found!
