  1. The yellow outline would represent the track. Should have clarified that...my bad
  2. Just playing around with google earth which hilariously still has SOB on there. But I did just a quick outline of what could possibly fit there assuming they could jump the tree line to where SOB’s double helix was. It came out to roughly 1.05 miles and I’m pretty sure Fury 325 is remotely close to that (6600 ft I believe). Also I’m using a straight line and it doesn’t take into the effect of track taking elevation changes up and down like all other coasters so track length would be even longer than that if I’m correct. What do you think?
  3. Haha roughly 2 miles! Random guess! Go big or go home right!
  4. Talk about being thorough...I had to take a nap after the 3 hours it took me to read this. Sorry couldn’t help myself haha
  5. That it would be...great CD. Only problem is I’m sure Metallica would charge millions to use that. Would end up costing more the coaster itself overtime haha
  6. Haha...that’s a stretch but touché!
  7. Are there any coasters out there that have actually named their trains before? Definitely a different idea to do but I wouldn’t think they would trademark names for trains. Then again I’m surprised every day of my life it seems like haha
  8. The spoiler above is nothing...not sure why it’s there. My apologies
  9. Definitely different than the normal “Goliath” or overused name for a large coaster. Orion: constellation named after a Greek mythology hunter. Polaris: a star at the end of the handle of the Little Dipper. Definitely both fit for X-Base. Another clue for what we all think were getting. Definitely getting interesting around here
  10. I know the common thought is that the clearing isn’t quite big enough for a giga but they could easily find a way to jam it in there if they want. Would probably double back on itself a lot which could make it intense for sure
  11. Has anyone tried to measure the new distance with the clearing stretching back to the end of The Beast brake run shed? I know someone measured it a week or so ago just didn’t know if anyone has updated that?
  12. I hear ya! I mean the double helix is amazing but add in some smoothness and more twists and turns along with some barrel roles and that would make The Beast catapult back up to one of the best. I’ll always ride it even though I need a chiropractor adjustment afterwards. We all know how iconic the night rides are Haha...that’s what a funnel cake before that ride will do to ya!

  14. Vortex is iconic but anyone over 6’ tall it’s just flat uncomfortable. Agree they need new restraints. I haven’t ridden it in years due to the fact it’s hard for me to fit into the cars and add on that over the shoulder restraint and it’s painful. Granted I essentially sit sideways in The Beast cars due to my height and build.
  15. I’d be thrilled with an RMC beast. But then again we all know that won’t ever happen. I’m just not sure how much more of a beating they coaster can take after 40 years...I’m only 36 and feel like my body sometimes is that of a 70 yr old ha
  16. I agree with ya there. That white building next to it would have to go as well but then again I don’t have any clue what their doing haha. A little slow at the firehouse today so plenty of time to zoom in on these pics and speculate. Remember patience is a virtue...and I have none!
  17. That new pull barn and clearing in that area looks like they may move all those exsieting maintenance buildings to there to clear up that space next to The Racer. Anyone thinking the same thing?
  18. been debunked...although there is that .00000001 chance of us being wrong and it being true haha
  19. I wish you could be a little more specific. Haha I get why you can’t divulge too much but you got anymore hints for those of us that won’t be there for opening day or anytime in the next month or so?
  20. Perhaps a nice Salmon color...soft on the eyes and not too feminine. Says “hey! We’re comfortable with our sexuality.” Haha...sorry couldn’t help myself. I don’t care what color it is as long as we get one (a giga). It could be pink and I’d still ride it (no pun intended)
  21. Not much of an element but I prefer them not fill the track with sand to deafen the “roar”. Something about being able to hear that throughout the park makes it that much better...call me crazy I guess but I like it
  22. I’m a cubs fan but that is a great stadium to watch a game. Got family down that way but mostly visit KI 3-4 times a year...and the Horseshoe casino hahaha
  23. Haha where is this at? The reds stadium?
