It could be trolling, but I don't think the link was unintentional at least even if it is only a joke/jab

Orion Coming to Kings Island in 2020

Well the difference is we have the information lol it's not a totally blind "guess how high you are." If someone is particularly afraid of heights, another few seconds going up and that extra bit towering over would add to it. So i guess to your second part, yes it's both. Most people have at least a twinge of apprehension about heights. The anticipation and that staring down can feel amplified -

Disagree on height of the hill. It adds to the overall experience and thrill factor of the ride. Being 325 feet in the air has a certain fear factor for a lot of people. Even if it drops less, that will inherently be more scary and thrilling than 285. After that, it's opinion. I don't get people being called "wrong" or "ungrateful" for saying they aren't too excited about it. It doesn't blow some people away. That's just as valid as others saying they think it looks awesome. What people want is different and clearly a fair amount of people wanted a bigger or more unique coaster But Diamondback AND Magnum over MF??? Really?? That's just crazy talk. More rides on MF for me! -
Could backwards blue racer be making a return next year?

Someone did make the choice when doing the video to put them that way. Hard to say if it's just a troll or means something. Can't say it just happened to be placed there though -

I'm excited about the coaster and it being here, but I'm still disappointed. It is just lacking anything unique. It's the smallest of all the gigas in each main category. To the people saying "you won't notice the height difference," have you ridden MF and Fury? I promise, you definitely notice those extra feet. Not saying it makes it unenjoyable, but I disagree completely saying you wouldn't notice if it were taller/longer drop. The biggest miss for me is the vanilla nature of the layout and not utilizing the terrain better. Yes it's a giga and the hills will tower above the woods, but send smaller ejector air hills and banked turns into the trees back by beast! A "terrain" giga could've been something really unique that would've made up for the lack of anything special with the stats. Without it, it just feels like a bit of a relegation to a park with the lowest intensity, but still big, coasters possible -
time to buy more land!

interesting that i get bashed multiple times, after the rules of the "friendly" forum get posted, for stating that the common way for giga is height and admitting that the other people that brought exceptions are right without me knowing. oh well we'll see what the coaster looks like on thursday. i hope it has a height of more than 296' so that the park doesn't get crap about it not being the shortest of the giga class
-
but what does the waffle part mean? lol
-
lol okay right. it's pretty standard (although others have mentioned others) to have the height as the main number. so standard is off the height. good try though of trying to attack for no reason
-
They would look ridiculous doing that to other parks but okay. I get part of what you're saying, but that point is just silly and illogical
-
i will concede that one, but that is 100% an outlier to the norm
-
cause it's off the height, not the drop
-
Why isn't it called fury 320?
-
The definition of the categories is height, not drop. soo yeah that's how all coasters have been measured
