how can you say Vortex is the best ride in the park? I feel that there is "No" best ride in the park, they are all average. But i personally like sob the best.

i think that is bs about the 54 degrees. Steel coasters operate down to about 32-34 degrees, and i am sure wood can go down to about 35-40.

lol... actually after reading his discription, I thought maybe he had made a wrong turn and ended up at SFKK. The parking lot at KK was packed. I have seen pretty days at PKI been dead. One friday night when the park closed at midnight last year I got to the park and had walk-ons all night. It was warm and no rain or anything.

Why call people idiots? You must be insecure.

People smoked in the ques at PKI all last year. It was illegal but nobody every would say anything to them, most of the ride ops were extremely passive. Who will be enforcing the no-smoking sections?

I also forgot to mention that i was never "stapled in" either.

Got to the park about 11. People were already lined up, lots of underage hotties at the park because it was spring break for their school system. I went straight to the back of the park. Chang: Rode front, then back. Awsome ride, better than mantis. It may be a mirror of mantis with a extra corkscrew, but it felt so much better. T2: Crappy Invert., front seat. Thunder Run: Most airtime i have ever had. It was so-so in the back then i rode in the second row and it was airtime nirvana. Twisted twins: Lola, crappy woodie, front. Greased Lightning: Back seat, two rollbacks, never got to ride. Hellevator: Best intamin drop ride, 10X better than drop zone. Waited in line for an hour to get my pass processed. Tidbits: Saw a ride-op that worked beast last year that looks like van wilder, and also some people i would assume was from cincy cause one had a IJST t-shirt and a couple others had beast shirts. If anybody else was there today did you see the black haired girl with the pink hollister sweat pants on? She was probably 15 or 16 but she was sure hot,lol.

Your restraint could be 4 clicks loose and there is no chance in hell you can fall out of Vortex. I wonder if they will be stapleing people on IJST? The only way to expierence the great first drop in the back row is with a loose restraint, that way you can feel the insane airtime.

If a ride op feels the need to staple someone, he or she is wanting to think they are a big shot. The last full week of august pki was open last year they were running the front side of racer only. This b**** i mean girl stapled me down big time, i got ****ed and made them release the lap bars for i could get off, i gave her a dirty look at exited the station. Dude, you are still going 20 or so mph over the tophat, the top hat is rounded alot, if you were going any faster it would put to much stress on the train and track, and the human body could not stand the g's.

I think they tested it around 3. There were also sleighted to test it Saturday at 3, but for obvious reasons, they didn't. Don't knock the slow speeds just yet, sometimes just barely making it over a hill gives you a neat sensation. What ride have you been riding that you like it to go slowly over a hill? There is no chance in hell of any air time.
