Until I saw the part where mike, peter and greg were at the booth where they were breaking the plates on the episode where they were at Kings Island in the fifth season of the series if you paid close enough attention to the trees in the background. You would know what I am talking about.

I don't think the line jumping rule is strictly enforced enough. I am sick of those individuals on some attractions with the easements who tend to use the easments on the attractions to cut in line like they own the rides. This is a major problem at a smaller amusement park that I visit in Northwestern Indiana, called Indiana Beach if you have heard of it before. It is usually the people who come and visit from gary, indiana or Chicago Illinois, this park is two hours north of me just like Kings Island is two hours southeast of me in Muncie, IN. With the advantage of going to Kings Island at the end of the road trip approaching the park there is the parks tower. But on the way back there is the big radio tower just off of us 35 north. I think that there should be an electric fence on the easements of the attractions where line jumping could be vonerable. Or some kind of an alarm system that could set off everytime this happens. The park security and Mason Police Department could happen to arrive and the offenders could be hauled off to set in that big playpen with the barbed wire and the electric fence on route 63 and 741. In a cell that has a little window facing the direction of Kings Island so they can look at the place everyday for what they have done wrong. For the rest of their natural lives thinking about what they done wrong at PKI.

I think it was cool if you saw in the brady bunch where they filmed their episode if you look in coney mall the trees looked like they had that Flat Top look you know like african americans used to have in the late 1980s almost like a smoke stack look. tall flat sides, and flat tops in the coney mall area next to the arcades. maybe refurbish the fountain that used to be in the center of coney mall near The Vortex when it was the old Kings Island.

I saw those flood lights being installed before they even painted the tower. That was in October of 2004. Kings Dominion al ready did their lights that way in the late 1990s. Summer of 2005 is when I saw the new flood lights completely installed. They had two of them on the rear on the northeast corner. But all of the rest were still the old rectangular floodlights above the 275 observation deck. I was also talking about the flood lights below the 265 observation deck. And the twelve flood lights above the base platform that are grouped in three on each side. get those four lights underneath the needle on the summit of the tower working to shine on the needle at night. Those red lights just above the middle platform could use attention if you have noticed those they have not been lit since 1999 when they changed the beacon at the summit. I have no problem with that beacon. But one of my wishes is to get an LED twin color beacon a red and white beacon white during day, red during night hours. By law the mid-level beacons need to be lit as well as the top one at night to form that pyramid shape of lights from the view of an airplane to identify the tower on foggy nights.

In spite of the Eiffel Tower being refurbished which other attractions need a little rehab and refurbishment at PKI?

You are completly right. It's mind blowing that there was not more of an outcry when they changed the name of American Herritage Music hall. Face/Off was ill placed. As ill placed as Italian Job. It only shows that Paramount had no concept of "the big picture." I think that Son of Beast, though a worthless ride, is artistic. It did work towards destroying the subtle beauty of the skyline, but what is done is done. I agree with you completely Interp. The Italian Job should have gone behind the go cart track and between the Son of Beast right where the King Cobra used to be. The Face off should have gone next to Flight of Fear. Where the face off is now there should be like a little rest park in that area make it a tranquil area of the park. That way the park guests should be able to unwind when necessary. International Street has a reputation to be crowd pleasing and tranquil at the same time. Where the American Heritage Music Hall sits that is technically International Street that also includes the site of face off. I would like to see Kings Island Modernize but maintain its former glory.

I visited the park on June 24, 2006, and July 22, 2006 I enjoyed the park I was glad to see those shops on international street actually lit up. Rode a lot of the same rides more than one time. Both visits. I ate pizza at the festhaus both visits. I am glad to see the clock on the festhaus working with its chime on the fifteen minute mark as every hour passed to hear the chicken polka as the chef makes its rounds above the front door. Coming to this park is worth the battle of coming through richmond, in, Eaton, Oh, Camden, Oh; Trenton, OH, and Monroe to Mason, OH. Cannot Stand Going through dayton with the construction on 75 just to get to 63. My alternative route is 35 out of my home town to richmond get on 70 go east to us 127 South then to Rt. 73 to 4 south to 63 East to 741 South. Majority of trip is two lane black tops.

Maybe they will convert them to electric, but I hope they can refurbish those lights the best way that they know how. If they convert those lights to electric I hope they use those flourescent light bulbs like you can put in a household lamp. I have seen some that can be used for decorative purposes too. For this case to make it like they have never converted they should use halogen vanity lights in them to mimic the original gas fixtures inside the lights.

I would like to see Kings Island Place Solar Panels on the Tower to Power It for a form of Energy Efficiency. I thought of this on how engineers are thinking green technology. As a way to gain a rebate on their taxes. Maybe get Kings Island Off the Grid, Maybe add solar panels to other rides and attractions.

Why dont they just repair the existing mercury vapor lights that are original to the tower itself. I like those lights that hang from the top only if all eight of them were lit up and the lenses on them cleaned up properly. Get all twelve of the mercury vapored lights just above the platform refurbished. I like the way those lights put out the green hue that they put out. It is cheaper than putting new ones on the tower. Put new bulbs in every socket on that tower.

I visited the park just a few weeks ago and noticed that the park finally decided to repaint the drop zone in the wake of the repainting of the Eiffel Tower and face off.

I kinda knew this was coming last summer when viacom and cbs broke up through a stock split.

Why is it that everytime winterfest has been at PKI you never see a television commercial to promote the event?

Another way that the ball on the tower's needle could be feasible is building a lighted ball around the needle itself. Just one minute before midnight, turn the tree off, then have the ball lit for the ball drop for 2006. Doesn't have to be anything elaborate.

Placing the new years ball on the needle at the very top of the Eiffel Tower. Lower it from the top beacon to the bottom beacons where the arcs meet. The ball should be a disco ball from a roller rink with the lights on the tower's rooftop shining on the disco ball until its lowered placed on some pulleys and operated from the top platform from the right side.

I like all the ideas that are coming about keep'em all coming. I like the idea in Nick Universe. The Tri-State area could use this kind of publicity maybe if this succeeds I would like to see Mardi Gras come to PKI's International Street during spring break week.

The Brakeson the Drop Zone are Hydrolic, and magnetic.

I never thought of that one. A very enexpensive idea.

Or have the ball lowered from a boom on the side of the tower since there is a christmas tree present.

I had a notion that would end winterfest having a new years eve celebration on International Street like they do on times square. Except you drop a lighted ball from the Eiffel Tower at the Stroke of Midnight. Before hand there is a Celebration going on during the course of the evening. This could be a week long event from December 26 through December 31, 2005, after the ball drops fireworks go off.

I would like to see the restaurant open full time during peak season. I ate up inside the restarant one time the food was great the service was great, and the view was great it was stupid to take the International Restarant away from the patrons in 1997.

Do you think that International Restaurant shoud be reopened to public in the near future?

The whole idea is to have this in addition to the current system. A little extra saftey never hurts anyone. I know to look up at the sky also. The thoroguard system is like a tornado siren except its for lightning and thunderstorm saftey. I appreciate all of your opinions.

Lightning Rods are not always fool proof. Lightning will not always hit a tower or a lightning rod. I have seen three towers on the property, Drop Zone, Eiffel Tower, and a Cell Phone Tower at the southern most edge of the park. The thoroguard system consists of a lightning rod, a series of sensors, and a warning siren. All computer controlled.
