I really like The Vortex as well. I love the little dip before the big drop. It sets you up for a gut-wrenching drop, which is something that is lacking from many of the large coasters today. MF and TTD just don't have that kind of drop.
Millennium force's first drop is amazing though! I like the part on Vortex when you go into the first corkscrew really slow, it almost feels like you're going to fall out!

It's funny how they have like 30 metal detectors and I only see them using one or two of them.

That's cool. PKI could use some rides like a ferris wheel. I'm mad they took away the Antique cars though.

I disagree... wood coasters are just not meant to go around and around.
The rough parts of SOB are the turns. Had this been an out and back, then the roughness would likely be a none issue.
Heard any roughness complaints about HW's newbie?

Yeah the turns (helixes) are pretty overused in SOB. They should have made it like an adventure type coaster like The Beast.

Yeah they could do all those things or they could update the food services, bring in more entertainment shows, and upkeep the theming of their rides better.
Adding new blockbuster rides is the SixFlags solution and we see how that ended up for them. Go visit SFMM for a miserable guest experience, but great rides if they are opperating. CedarFair would improve the guest experience at KI and then drop some new blockbuster thrill rides around the park. Look at what they have and are doing with GL. I would expect the same treatment to KI.
They aren't going to drop the paramount theming when the new owner buys PKI, those are protected by paramount co. (i.e. nickelodeon universe). I read that in the Cincinnati Enquirer.

People mention these a lot on this board (and everywhere else) about B&M's. But I don't know what they are and it's driving me crazy. Someone explain....
