I say BB...the best, and better customer service...at least for my family! BBay gets Thumbs up!! Only a few weeks till the puppies are here!!
-
about 10 minutes!! Not long at all. Puppies are coming July 15th and 16th

We go to BB and just grab a few chairs. We lay our stuff out on there and head off to ride the rides and swim! We are usually in the kiddie section. And we do not bring anything I would be worried about losing. Have fun...It will be crowded!

Congrats on the fisrt trip and first ride.... It only gets better chef! Wait till he is expressing himself with smiles and laughter when you take him on The BeastIE!!! My now four year old went on when she had turned two. SHe now holds her hands up the whole way!! Glad to hear it was a nice time. PUPPIES ARE COMING IN JULY!!!

Hey long time no posties!!! We did make it to the Grand opening day. We got there about 11:15 and parked in the employee section....shhhh not suppose to tell! The place WAS PACKED...with my two little ones I did not ride much, no shoes takes a good inch off of my 8 year old so she was bummed!! A little to short for the "GOOD" rides. My four year old had fun in the buckeroo bay area as did my 8 year old. BUT...it was WAY to crowded for us. Where ever you turned you bumped into another person.... drove me nuts!! We stayed for 2 hours and went home. We will go back during the week once it is opened then. Hope to meet some of you there. PS...we are having puppies in July!!! Two Litters! YEAH!

Yikes that is scarry! I think it is possible, but there are so many safety measures in place on rides to prevent things like that. I am glad there are back ups, like the safety belts. I was just thinking about restraint failure while riding TR on Saturday night....while hanging upside down over the bubbling water....I was holding on too. wondering what if???? Just can't think to much when you are trying to have fun, can you?

Hubby and I will be there tomorrow night...Were going tonight, but they are not open as far as I can tell by the calendar. We should get there around 5 - 5:30 ish....Our youngest daughter's 4th b-day party is tomorrow...have to go after that! Mrs. G happy 13th to trouble...My son just turned 13 on Thursday, the 15th. WOW, teenagers! We will be hitting the coasters and Delirium tomorrow... Let me know if any one is hooking up for a group ride.

I really don't believe that PKI is haunted. I don't believe that ghosts are real because it has never been scientifically proven that there are such things of hauntings. For many of the ghost stories out there there is a very logical explanation. For example the eyes in the fountian myth it could simply be lights on buildings or the moon reflecting off of the water. It could also be some person with a very over active imagination because if you think something is real and see something that looks like what you think is real you might think that what you see is what you think.

I do think that The Racers was meant to be one coaster ride. The race was part of the excitement of the ride! We would go on to see if our side won....So the ride is the racing excitement! IMHO

Just a thought... for those that do not know what they are looking at in the photo section, maybe you could label the pictures...different coasters thrill ridesw etc..

We had a great time... We got to the park about 5:00 yesterday evening. One of those hey, lets go to PKI moments. We only live 15 minutes from the park. So we loaded up the kidos and head out. When we arrived at the park I was not sure it was even open! There was hardly any cars there. Well, I knew it was open till 8pm so we went on. Got in side my youngest daughter was asleep in her stroller, security oohhed and awhed over her! The other two kids could not wait to get going...but first a bathroom pit stop before the fun begins! Our first stop was DZ...my seven year old daughter LOVES this ride...This is her first year to be able to ride. She is Finally 48 inches... this was a walk on ride. And a lot of empty seats.. Hmmmm...next we went to Top gun... OF course my daughter loved that too. The worst part of it was the walk down to get there. What does it take 20 minutes? Geez. We asked if she would like to try SOB, but she was not ready for that one yet. SHe said maybe next time. I am sure she will. Next was a stop at Delirium. Again walk on ride...with a lot of empty seats. YEAH...This ride rocks. Almost like a new ride each time. Ya never know if you will be up, down or sideways! Savannah, my 7 year old, was very upset that she could not ride this...Maybe next year. We walked around to Adventure Express..my son and hubby stoped to ponder on doing Sling Shot..My daughter and I went to AE...Rode twice with out getting off the ride.. first time around she kept her hands down second time I said hold up your arms , She did the WHOLE way....She made me proud. I think she is going to be a blast at the park this year...a real coaster ridin' buddy The older kids, my seven and 13 year old went to The Racers backwards while my hubby and I took the now awake 3 year old to The Beastie!. Her choice of course. Though she said...I want to ride The Racers too mom. Maybe next year on that one. There was no line for beastie either..The park was DEAD, but we love it like that! (not always though of course) The older kids met up with us at the kiddy swings. They said The Racers were a walk on too. Next we went to Scooby doos haunted castle. Hey what is your High score? 1780 is our families so far... Have you ever stoped to look at your picture afterwards? Those are great. My son had one eye shut like he was aiming... I looked like I was really on the hunt. We had to go to the carousel for a quick ride. We had our pick on horses. My girls LOVE horses. My son, 13, went to Vortex. we met up at the bumper cars. Savannah, did not realize she had to push down on the gas peddle! Poor girl sat there for a bit. Till dad got back around to tell her. Then she was off. She actually bumped quite a few people. And was bumped a lot! That was it, the park was CLOSED.. we made our way out with the other few folk that remained. We had a great time... Hey what happened to spell check???

Hey there Chef, Glad to hear that your wife and son are recovering. Keep up the good work of caring for them. Sounds like you had a great first day visit! Isn't it great when the lines are so short. I love it! Happy that you were able to get off some stress. PKI is a great place for that, especially when there are no lines and you do not have to worry about your kids!

The first ride I did ride was Delirium on season pass day...It was great getting back into it! Now When we go, maybe I should say if we go tomorrow, I am clueless where we will start. But It will be great none the less.
