CF doesn't give up on parks. MIA is perfect example of that. everyone thought MIA was a huge risk, but now they are turning a profit. trust me when i say this. GL will be around for a long time and will do very well.
I would definatly stay at Breakers Express! Its the best deal and you are still close to the park! There are other hotels in Sandusky that are good as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to pm me, I worked at CP for 4 summers and I know which are the good hotels up there!
CF is trying to restore GL to what it used to be, when it was owned by Fun Time. Its a step in the right direction for the park, and the park will do well!
Geauga Lake is going back to the direction it was when funtime owned it. it will go back to a family picnic park, where people had company picnics. The park is not going out of business and will be fine.
actually if you look at any contract that Cedar Fair makes seasonals sign or the employee guidelines hanbooks that are given to employees on the day you process in, you will indeed find the policy
I understand, and I'm just saying you dont work for Kings Island nor know their policy with how employees post or how they regard certain posts that are deemed eligible to be on the grounds of disciplining an employee or removing an employee. What little you knwo about the Geauga Lake policy is not necesarilly the Kings Island policy and not the topic at hand.
Its not Kings Island policy its Cedar Fair policy and at the discretion of the HR manager
I first want to assure you that Cedar Fair does in fact hire minors to work in rides. All you have to do is look at Geauga Lake and there is proof positive that minors are in leadership and supervisor positions in every facet of the park. If i could give you all some advice, don't jump to conclusions that Cedar Fair is going to change everything. Give them a chance to come in and do their jobs!
