Here's a little secret seems like most people don't know. Instead of waiting in line and being nervous about the "walk of shame" You can walk up to ANY ride exit and ask to test fit in the seat. Saves you time and an embarrassing walk of shame

Oh can we get one with two drops that are side by side!?

Another interesting thing comes up, What if the said person HAS hands, but they suffer from paralysis from the neck down, they have hands but just can't use them, I wonder what that would turn into if they were told to get off the ride because of their said condition. I'm actually glad their taking this to court. 1. She has full use of both of her arms, she just doesn't have hands. 2. She has rode the ride before(In court if this gets brought up, the judge could have a field day with this, its kind of like she had the right before and now it got taken away from her) 3. who to say she couldn't grip the harness once it was pulled down. Maybe she couldn't pull it down but hey her parents are right there helping her. 4. Are we 100% sure that she will fall out without hands? Whats really the sudden danger. If something happens unexpected whos to say even with the people with hands won't also be in danger. They have to rule that she without hands is in more danger than the person with hands. Should be a very good case to watch.

Today is the day I'll be there drinking my 8 dollar beer and riding rides. Anyone wanna possible meet?

Just a quick note, It has came to my attention some of you are worried or concerned about some "churches" showing up to protest our night. No worries, KI has taken necessary steps to prevent such things. Remember this is a private event & it takes place on private property. You have no worries. If you do see people protesting in or outside the park, let customer service know ASAP or if anyone in the park is handing out fliers(this is against park policy on ANY case, even during a public day a guest CANNOT, hand out fliers of self promotion or 3rd party promotion or any promotion/advertisement of that kind unless they're with a company that CF/KI has a contract with)

The beach is way better anyway.

eh in 2005(when CBS division took ownership of the parks) The park was indeed in trouble. I'm Glad CF got the parks as soon as they could. CBS in my opinion(and many others) had no clue what to do with these amazing parks. I do miss the old paramount days 1994-2004

If you're going to the waterpark and wanna save money here's what you should do. 1. Use your car as a changing room and leave your clothes in the trunk of your car. 2. Now how many of you are going? family trip? friend trip? pack an extra t-shirt(one you don't care about) and wear it and use it to get back in the park with no hassle. 3. If any ladies are in the group, ask them if they'll wear swim trunks(trust me and tell them to wear their bathing suit under the trunks or shorts they don't care about) and have them too wear a tshirt they don't care about , that way you have no hassle getting into the park. 4. If you're just going to ride water rides and not spend a dime, just put your personal belongings in the trunk of your car. 5. Go to the water park and have fun, take off your tshirt and lay ur towel down on a set of chairs or something like that. Ladies at this point can also take off their shorts and t shirt IF you or any of the other people in the group don't wanna go through the hassle of wearing extra clothing, use your towel to cover your exposing body. for the ladies, they need two towels. that's the cheapest way to do the water park and not breaking any rules in the process.

Gay couple asked to reverse shirt at Dollywood
Cody replied to ChazyG's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I would disagree. Not sure what gay bar you've been going too. And for those opposing this as a rosa park situation, I say to you, shame on you. These two situations have similarities to each other. Both are standing out from the "norm". Both are making full statements about their civil rights. Remember WE as gay couples can NOT get married and get the 1,500 fed rights that we deserve. We are being denied our human rights. What if you were being denied a right that majority of other fellow Americans can get? wouldn't you be angry? wouldn't you wanna make a statement? I know I would and I have. I've started wearing t-shirts about gay marriage and gay rights everywhere I go now, just because people become educated and know that we are here and we deserve to be treated equal, and trust me, staying silent isn't going to get us no where. Again, how is her shirt offensive??? -

Props to her for wearing that shirt. I think what she did was brave and courageous, it's like the time Rosa Parks sat in the front of the bus instead of the back. The shirt is only deemed offensive when the words are considered offensive, and gay should not be considered offensive. I to wear selective jewelry/clothing when out in public. I mean we're being denied marriage so why can't we wear shirts that promote gay marriage. Let's turn the tables and denies some of your rights and see if you sit home quietly and do nothing. I'm glad there are so many LGBT standing up and making it loud and clear we're here and we want our rights. Kudos! Remember Silence Equals Death. -

Pick N Choosers! TBH I look at it this way. If a family wants to go out to their car and change to their swim suits, and use their car as a locker, I don't care. They usually have a towel covering up some parts anddd they usually just go to BB after they change.... I don't really care if a group of people try to save a BUCK using 2 dollar all day lockers instead of 15 bucks BB lockers. I mean come on, you don't know how much they paid in gas/food/tickets/hotel. Maybe their just trying to save a buck so they can spend their extra 13 dollars on a game or maybe even buying a slingshot ticket. Are you really going to get mad at someone for trying to save money??

I agree, nothing good will come from this overly aggressive approach. However, on my last visit to the park on Thursday the 23rd of June, the young man that approached my daughter and I was very friendly and politely asked if we would like our picture taken. Since he wasn't aggressive about it we agreed. Had he been aggressive or had I felt threatened in any way I would have refused and kept walking probably straight to guest relations with the young man's name. Glad to hear that you had a great run in.

Who says the only job at McDonalds is to cook I didn't say many, I said half. Which it seems like, if you ever talk to one on their break, they really like photographing or just wanna put it down on their resume or college application.
