wel... maybee wood just needs to be replaced- as I remember Son of Beast was built with wood that could withstand amazing friction, and maybee the "withstanding" is starting to go away. I mean how long can wood last under that kind of pressure? ~vl2

it will feel like you're at the top before you actually are, so if you feel as if you're at the top, but your not going down, just look up to see how much longer it will be until you reach the top. Also, make sure you don't ride it when there's a long line your first time. That happened to me when I rode it, and I had to go to the bathroom SOOOOO BAAAAAAD! I also felt as if I had a ceisure from shivering in fright. But then I rode it, and it was AWESOME!!!!! just think of it this way: Its only a hundred feet higher than Son of Beast! if that made it worse sorry

somebody already tried to sue PKI for their back injuries last year.. hence the re-smoothing of the ride. And im tired of people hating this ride.. if you hate it dont ride it! I know this may sound stupid, but im starting to think that thing has a spirit. If you ride it to brag, its going to beat the flying squirrels right out of ya. if you ride it for fun, you'll get shaken, if you ride it because you can and you love the ride, you'll enjoy the living day lights out of it. Personally i just imagine something else while im riding it and it seems to help. best times to ride SoB: after or during rain. early morning. begining of the season. I don't hate this ride I was trying to make a point it's my third favorite coaster! jeeze I hate it when people jump to conclusions hence the not saying I don't like the ride

mob psycology strikes again... now people will start thinking it's a bad ride, and it won't be long until people start filing cases against the ride, and then Kings Island, Cedar Fair, paramount, and the ride makers will all be sued, and all of this will lead to a higher possibility of the ride getting demolished, which will then question the safety of wooden roller coasters altogether, and the question the saftey of the heights of roller coasters, and then question the saftey of roller coasters altogeter. I know, it's a bit dramatic (okay alot dramatic) but it could still happen. ~vl2

I'd go with the audults because they can get drunk. Kids, and hip hop aren't that bad

I will go on a park version of those things, but I once went on a carny version, and the restraints were'nt very good, and when we went upside down I litteraly almost lifted right out of the restraint. Scared me half to death. but Face/Off doesn't do that, it just presses you, and the restraints are new, just a couple years old. If they were faulty they'd have been replaced by now. and it is REALLY fun- my numberfour favorite ride (tied with Flight of Fear). ~vl2

Flight of Fear- Wicked Twister Space Ray Face/Off- Eagle Star or Backflip Top Gun- Atack of the mutants (this would include new theming, paint job, and sound system)
