U missed the point, even when asked what wasn't running, CP will not tell you, before entering the park.. Pki has a sign posted , before u enter, informing u of rides that will not be operating..(you can leave before you pay) Even then, i've been there, and rides that were listed, began operating.. CP's idea is to get u into the park first, then it is too late... And yes, any piece of equipment will break down at any time, you just have to minimize the down time... Rick

Just a quick note for all of you that operate the rides, for the most part, my week at PKI saw no real, problems with the ride ops at any station! (the week of 06-18 to 06-26) Couple of the ops at DZ were great, in a good mood and attentive to their job... To change gears here, and not to knock CP, but, my last trip to CP, TTD did not run at all, 3 out 4 Drop Towers worked half the day, WT worked on and off all day... When entering the park, nothing was said about any rides being down, allthough I knew that TTD would not run, I still asked.. Nobody would say anything... At least at PKI there is a sign out front that informs you of any rides that will not be operating, before you enter the park.. When riding Raptor, I was by myself, waiting for 2nd seat of 1st car..When I got to the front of the line, the front seat had 2 empty, so the op said to move on up.. Now I'm locked in and checked, the sup comes over and has the locks released and sends me back to the 2nd seat... No problem for me except that the next pair of riders had to come from the stairs(about 15 people or so back), the other trains are backed up in the brakes, and 3-4 minutes go by, the ride comes to a complete stop... To me this was very efficient!(LOL) Never happened at PKI, yet.. Rick

Just some more fuel to the Fear Fest fire: Our group has gone to every FF since it started.. The 1st year was terrible.. Last year was unbelievaby terrible.. But the year before, when they had celebrity slaughter was the best. I do not know what they were thinking last year, maybe this year will be different. We have to travel 6 hours to get there, so we like to make it worth the time... Rick
