That's 100% true. I went to Cedar Point along with my entire 8th grade class last Friday. This one kid loaded the bus with a leg brace on that day. He rented a wheelchair and didn't wait for a single ride...him and 3 other friends. Yesterday he came to school and was miraculously healed. I think that unless you have a doctor's note or a cast, you should not be allowed to use those handicapped rights. I have a cast on my wrist right now. I've had it since last Tuesday...I could have rented a wheelchair and said my pain is so severe that I can't walk. It just upsets me when people cut in line by claiming to be invalid. Maybe someday they will have their legs cut off and will find out what it's truly like??? I don't know...

Minor Magnum accident

Yes, that is true.

Aren't the seats on the Big Dipper at GL like that?...they're really soft.

The past several times I have been to Geauga Lake, the ride kept getting stuck on the lift hill. I do not know whether I was just there on bad days, or if there actually is/was a problem with the ride. From the time maintenance arrived, it would take a good 20 minutes to reopen the coaster. I never actually saw both sides running at the same time... at GL, when I went, there was hardly a line at all...needless to say, they can use one side at a time if they please.

What will happen with smoking at Kings Island
Beastly1992 replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
I support the new smoking ban 100% and I don't think that anyone should be permitted to smoke anywhere! Although I'm only 14, I've been exposed to cigarette smoke for most of my life with my mother and grandparents all being former smokers and when I was with my dad, he never cooked except for maybe once every 2 months tops, so we would go to restaurants all of the time (I think he took a cooking class somewhere because I haven't been to a restaurant in over a month and am enjoying every minute of it). I have been completely sick of cigarette smoke and getting mini asthma attacks for a long, long time and was thrilled when the law was passed. I do see the side of the argument where designated areas should be allowed, but only with proper enforcement and it should be way outside of the gates if anything. I for one think that no smoking should be permitted as it is an infringement upon my rights as a non-smoker, especially since it is lethal. If somebody lights one up right next to you and everyone around you, they are unintentionally committing homicide. If that's legal, then people should be allowed to stab or shoot someone to death. The only difference is that it's much quicker to impale someone. smoking areas in public makes as much sense peeing areas in a pool -
I can remember the good ol' days when I used to try to ram into the car in front of me! I don't think Italian Job is that great anyway. I'd like to have them back again, but I guess it's too late now.

that thing at the fearfest was terrible and wasn't as sick as it could have been As far as ideas, I would have Mrs. Clause hanging from a tree with a rope around her neck Cookies shaped like body parts instead of milk, make it blood or some body fluid

More FireHawk Construction!
Beastly1992 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
No idea how far in the painting process, but I am surprised with their progress too. Cedar Point had to start clear back in March for Maverick. Sure "Firehawk" has been put together before, but still should take a lot of work. -
How much longer do you think Geauga Lake will be around? Seems to be deteriorating since the removal of Sea World.

I couldn't agree more with you. Thats why I personaly think FearFest is the best time of the year to ride Beast. Night, Fog, and the Chill in the Air. Agreed

Prizes like that are completely ridiculous! I love the gigantic stuffed animals too.

Any other stories about food on the ride?

I was wondering which seat people like best on The Beast. My absolute favorite is the back! In fact, over this past summer, I was riding with some guy who thought it would be a good idea to bring a big cup of Coke on with him. Ended up all over the both of us at the bottom of the first hill.
