so anybody here go to the park today? any new info?

I'm favoring the name, Leviathan. Cedar Fair decided to build a ride that is almost identical to this one called Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland. They are now building a similar hypercoaster with a splashdown effect, and Leviathan was known as a serpent/reptile of the sea. So maybe?

True, only time can tell. July is a real busy month for business. What could be taking so long for the official press release?

So is this track for the new ride? I wonder when they'll start bringing it out of the crates if this is the hypercoaster track.

I was recently watching Major League, and it made me think of "Wild Thing". It does kind of fit the Rivertown theming.

My best guess is that it's a B&M Hyper like recently suggested. If you look at the area where this splashdown would be, notice how that one strip isn't large enough for the width of a Dive Coaster train. I know that the outside of the trains hangover the track, but it still doesn't seem highly likely that this is a Dive Coaster. And from recent articles and from the video on youtube, it says this 2009 Project will be a B&M hyper plus there is a splashdown effect at the very end of the video. I'm not saying this accurately correct, but that proposed idea wasn't just made out of thin air.

I was at the park yesterday preparing to ride Xtreme Skyflyer with my best friend, Alisha, and I asked the ride attendant when the ride would open and he replied that it would open in one week. So I believe the ride will probably open on July 4th

Does anyone know what the logo looks like on front of the new SOB trains? Maybe perhaps a picture? Thanks. Kight31Woodmen

Due to strong t-storms possible on Thursday, I'm now going on Friday 6.29. I was wondering if someone could tell me how much of an impact it being on a Friday if the lines are hectic? Thanks for replying. Kight31Woodmen

I'm going to the park on Thursday, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long the lines are going to be? We are going immediately to Firehawk when we get there around 1030 or so. And if it rains, what exactly do they do to the rides? Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Kight31Woodmen

anyone know if this could possibly be open within the next 7-10 days? I'm visiting the park on the 28th, and I'd really like to ride Son of Beast. But if they haven't even started testing, things don't look too good. Oh well, there's always Firehawk to ride. Kight31Woodmen
