  1. I see ORANGE seatbelts
  2. its like red white and blue, if I recall.. I'll try to sneak a peek and get some worthy pictures. No promises. Too bad its so hard to see the trains for the paths.
  3. I will take my sidekick like before... hopefully I am going to go back sometime this week, if not early next week. Every time I go, they don't test it. Maybe I'm bad luck
  4. if people were on it, doesn't that mean it is being inspected, or it has passed inspection? I'm uneducated at this, but it would seem so..
  5. I did notice (6/25) that the trains have Son of Beast (or something) on the front. Looked brand new
  6. I was riding tonight. I don't like Cedar Fairs "No wooden coaster opperation during fireworks" rule. Paramount did it, and it was fine. I would much rather hurry up and leave, than stand for 15 minutes and waste time, but it is nice that they check for a burning track. Lights were on in the helix. No biggie.
  7. I wonder if they put some trims there? I cant wait to see it open soon, if it does! edited out me being dumb.
  8. I would go to the beach.... Or in my backyard lol
  9. Just wondering. I have given them in the past, and one so far this year. Has anyone else ever reconigzed a positive action made by an employee and turned it in to Guest Services? Has a employee that visits here ever recieve one? Just wondering.
  10. I mean, everyones body is differently porportioned, but my boyfriend is 6'3, and a 40'' waist and he is fine on ALL rides at Kings Island (even IT:ST, which he said has the most comfertable seats and restrants believe it or not), but he is really tall so we have to sit (usually) in the front part of a car when riding a ride. I mean, Kings Island is pretty good with accomidating everyone, unlike Cedar Point. (MF, TTD). I'm sure more experianced users can help you more.
  11. I think it was almost as bad as bring a friend free day. Literally there is a line for EVERY ride (try to get there as soon, if not before they open. I'd say around 9:45-9:55am). spongebob 3D is pretty fun. yet again, I love spongebob! I love all the changes Cedar Fair has made. I think they are doing a really good job for them controlling it for less than one full season! They know what the heck they are doing!
  12. I live in dayton, and everyone tells me im crazy for wanting to work there. You live even further away. (no, i don't work at KI though..) For me, its always been a dream, not just a job.. So if its the same for you, I sugest you try it out (you can always call them like suggested, or shoot them a E-mail on the site)
  13. I am going to the park monday [[for sure]] and I will take my camera (or MDA.. whatever works) and try to get some pictures / footage. No promises tho, because I will be going in a group, which one person has NEVER been to Ki! So we have to cram it all in. Its do-able.
  14. http://www.KICentral.com/photos/thumbnails...astup&cat=0 Theres some pictures there.
  15. This is really unfortunate. I hope the best for the young girl.
  16. The wait when I went yesturday was only about 30 minutes. It really depends on what day you go, and if their are any groups / Big companies going.. I made a mistake going the day lexmark was there.
  17. Looks like im going friday rather than today. So they were doing test runs today? Maybe they are just checking to see if they gauged it right and it doesnt run into problems?
  18. there were weather problems this afternoon. I'm going to KI again tommorrow (for something else..) and I'll enter the park JUST to look at SOB. I'll try to bring my good camera this time
  19. i went to KI today, and I saw that they must have been loading a train because the track (by station that holds extra trains) was moved, and they had a crane (which I think was loading up track for it). I didnt see a train today though. This is exciting!
  20. Thanks to everyone who replied. Turns out, my friend has a soccer game at 5:30 (and the other lost a maxx pass. oops!), so we are going to Kings Island instead. Whoo hoo! double ride Tuesday's!!!!1111one!!! I have never been there on that. so thanks to everyone who replied, one again. I'll remember to take that into consideration next time CP plans come up! You guys rock.
  21. Okay.. So I didn't want to waste space to make a new thread, so Im threadjacking this one (of mine) with another question. I'm probably going tuesday. Are weekdays pretty packed at CP?
  22. I used mine for the bay earily enterence and for the speedlane with no problems. If there is a problem, I have a printed E-mail in my glovebox of my car from customer service saying that Maxx passes are included if bought before the deadline.
  23. Yeap. I noticed that Drop Zone was stuck at the top of the tower for about 10 minutes, and had to be slowly brought down. I also noticed a around 7 (when I was making my final check-up on SOB) that delirum was shut down. At first I thought they had a Bio hazzard, because the water hose was out, and the station floor was lowered and most of the workers were cleaning the que line. Delierium was packed all day. A lot of the lines, like The Beast, were longer due to the fact of the gold Pass speedlane. I know when me and my friend went thru that lane, not only on The Beast but the other rides as well, got dirty looks from everyone who waited in line for a hour or more. It was busy yesturday, but I have seen worse. Even the Bay was packed.. I am looking like a lobser! I forgot to bring the sunblock. lol (I think my sholders are as red as the lights in the SOB station!) what time were you around Son of Beast? The crew was there when I was there around noon, or 12:15.
  24. Just a note, I didnt get to take pictures of the crew becuase my phone was in a locker by tomb raider, which is where I made the first post from (, but I did however try to take pictures of the station and a picture of the track (to show as an example) of where they were working on.) I litterally SCREAMED when I saw them working.. In a very manly way tho.. hah . It's nice to know progress is being made! I wish I could go tomorrow to see if they do any thing more, but the next time i will be able to go is two mondays from now. But they used the station speakers and told one of the guys to "__insertname___, turn on the lift hill", which I not only HURD running, but saw the actual round thing moving at the very top of the hill that catches on to the chain(excellent terminology, I know ) You can't see the lights on because of the crappy phone camera.. But theres what everything looked like as of today. Part they were working on. It's RIGHT where the final block brakes are Station. Couldn't see a train though. Another station picture [[with a lady walking by!]] Different view I really wish I would have gotten a picture of the crew. There was a good 4 or 5 people working ON that brake run section, and then there was probably 2 or 3 more in the actual station.
  25. its 7 PM, im leaving the park right now. No one is at SOB anymore. I don't see ANY trains. To answer previous questions, the lights WERE infact on, in daylight. The station was shaded, and I highly doubt (ill bet $50) that it was a sun glare. My camera on my phone SUCKS.or I would take pictures. No cars were added (from what I can see. The lights are ON right now, at 7.03. I hear a noise in the station, which would be the Que fans. A blue truck just FLEW by. I did attempt to take some pics, but ill upload them to photobucket on the car ride home, but I doubt they will be worth viewing. Ahhh! Im EXCITED! It looks like they are making sure everything works before something happens, which hopefully means touch ups and the installation of the *NEW* cars!
