Has anyone been to the water park yet? I am curious about the adult area in the water park. I enjoy chilling in the hot tub in the afternoon before heading to dinner at Fridays.

It could be similar to the second lift hill on Adventure Express. It gets you all worked up and ready for something cool like a 2nd big drop. You have some animatronics thrown in there for good measure. Then boom, total let down as you stroll into the station.

I think you might be onto something here. I saw they added some white picket fences to the front entrance, and they don't fit at all IMO. They totally remodeled the parking lot entrance last year, so it would make sense to remodel the front entrance this year. Cedar Point had their front remodeled a couple years also.

I'm making my first visit this weekend and need to do a renewal on my Platinum pass. When I renew will I be able to use my pass from last year, or did the passes change for 2016?

My first time at the park for dollar days. I'm not a fan. We were in the water park and had we known the lines for everything was 45 minutes before going to the dry park we would have left and ate at Wendy's.

Edit: leaving the park at 10:30 I was shocked by the still long lines of people waiting in line for pizza and ice cream.

Now 55 minutes and we're at the bottom of the steps. So much for a night ride on The Beast. The park closes in 10 minutes.
