  1. And if you read Screamscape, you can read this article too! Six Days later...... http://www.screamscape.com/html/industry_news.htm#BM
  2. Ohhh! Ohh! I got an Idea! How about we wait for the first few seasons to see how they use the trim, THEN judge whether they did well or not! Jackson, Dodging the Tomatos and BOOS.......
  3. I needed that laugh this morning.
  4. I wonder if I could convince my mom to pull me out of school that day........
  5. Happy holidays to you and whoever your booby lady avatar is! From Beast1979

  6. I am startled at how quick this 3rd hill is, unlike the second hill where it slowly pulls out of the turn and glides over the top, it looks like this will throw you on your side and back, then yank you over the 3rd hill for some insane airtime. Definately one of the best parts of the ride.
  7. So there's a better seat than the front of the last car? I need the leg room but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I still have to figure out the whole numbering system. The first number is the number of the car, the second one is the number of the row. If you want leg room, I found the front row the roomiest.
  8. http://www.kiDiamondback.com/public/latest/gallery/ Yey, snowy pics!
  9. No need to be a smart allec, Terpy. The weather stations I watch said snow would fall, and everytime I check Weather Underground, it seems to be wrong.
  10. Dry air pocket over Downtown Cincinnati and Northern Suberbs has kept the snow from going north of Ohio River. Later today the snow will work itself north and Anyone north of the River could see almost 3 inches. By Midnight we could even see a light coating of Ice.
  11. I can't wait to walk in and be surrounded by roller coasters, here the clank clank clank of the chains, the sweet smell of chain grease and food vendors, hearing the roar of the Flight of Fear, throwing your hands in the air and letting the adrenaline flow, running past the ride signs, I just love it all.
  12. The front slowed down extremely so nothing got here when it was supposed to, therefore they had time to work!
  13. ^You'd actually be surprised how much the forcast can change from 6:30 AM (When the cold front is over Kansas) to 2:30 PM (When the Cold Front is over Cincinnati). Not to mention that not only are we a little on the short side salt wise, but it will start late at night and continue throughout the morning tomorrow, prime time for school and buisness closings. By the way, more work has been done on the 3rd hill! Or are we to consumed by the white menace to notice? Don't Worry, when the power comes back on tons more work should be done!
  14. Our jolly school district (Sycamore) does not close unless it is literally impossible to run the busses. We went to school in white-out conditions once. But the one weak spot of our schools is ice, and it seems we're gonna get ice, so rumors of a snow day tomorrow and possibly Wednesday are going around. But we will definately finish out today without an ealry release.
  15. Oh, really? You don't pay much attention, apparently. Weather Underground merely republishes the National Weather Service forecast. Period. What ever are you talking about? I even noted this in my post: Could I possibly have been more clear? Did you not read that? If that is the case then why is it that the link I posted clearly states things about Ice and snow, while Weather Underground talks about clouds and slight chances of precipitation, if they are supposedly from the same source? Jackson, hopelessly confused about why he didn't catch (or post) that those two people posted different forcasts supposedly from the same source, and also confused about why anyone reads weather underground..... Edit: And on a side note, none of the stations posted have even a 50% accuracy rate, no one in the world has that capability here and now, so I would prefer we stop arguing about something we don't control.
  16. I've found local forcasts to be much more reliable then national ones, and I've also found the National Weather Service to be more reliable then Weather Underground, and I keep up with this stuff....
  17. That's funny. You're sounding more like the Terp each day. Kudos. I try. We're supposed to have some truely disgusting weather this week, including snow, rain, and, *drumroll* Freezing Rain! Warren County (And the rest of the Tri-State) is under a Winter Weather Advisory Today with Rain this morning and Snow This Afternoon. Overnight we're supposed to get a decent amount of Freezing rain, and Tomorrow the Tri-State will be under a Winter Storm Watch with a wintery mix and snow all day. Wednesday will have a gross mix like Tuesday, and Thursday and Friday will feature rain. Expect little to nothing this week: http://www.wlwt.com/severeweather/1589292/detail.html
  18. Ohh, well, let me think about it during school, to many things come to my mind right now.......
  19. Well I clearly remember someone from the park telling me that Diamondback would have a 90 Degree drop too, but that didn't happen.....
  20. You mean the retheme of Nick U? That rumor's on hold due to inadiquate information on both sides of the story.....
  21. ^Well, ya! That's common knowledge! And in other news, The sky is red and The Vortex will be gone next year.....
  22. Cool, now it's time to see our little Diamondback grow up! He's growing up so fast! Jackson, who couldn't resist.....
