i have also heard of places doing a thing where u get a ticket when u pay an admission, should there be an admission charge, and u vote for the band u like, and they get the money for each vote

thats what i'm going for, but personally, i don't want to goto the park myself, i want one of the people who always talk about when they talked to jeff last week or whatever, to read this and post their views, and maybe take it to him, or tell me how i can talk to him

it doesnt hurt anything to bring old topics back, there are no really HOT, or active topics for that matter, and if i fell like striking up a new conversation with some other coaster folk, why not dig up a topic i can relate to see what people have said on the issue, and saying something, if we just wanted to be involved in the conversation going on right now, shouldnt we just be in a big chat room, i know i can't win against you, obviously you won't see it my way, and one final point, what if the subject i want to speak on is a slightly new idea on an old subject, you people complain about making a new subject close to the same as an old one. It seems like people are too particular on this forum, i think we could lighten up and get a little more enjoyment out of it. sorry about the length

I don't know if anything like this has been done in the past, or if anyone else would see it as a good idea, but i think pki should have a battle of the bands, heck they have Star Search, it would be the perfect setting, they could even have local radio stations out to help, and there are 2 theaters they could use. this is how they could run it, every saturday, 6 bands get 1/2 hour, to play and impress the crowd, after all six(or whatever) bands are done playing, the people or some judges some how vote for the top 2 bands, the first place band goes on to play head to head against the top band from the previous week to see who goes on, and at the end of each month the top two bands from each week play a set, with the reigning champ closing, and with the $$ the park has, the could help the bands find a break, and get them exposed to alot of ppl, while providing entertainment to the park, and the attendence of their followers

i dont really see the problem with it, not to start u fuss or anthing, but what if someone has been away for a while, it gives them a chance to see the old stuff, and if u have some imput, what does it hurt

mean streak has brakes every 10 feet, how could it shake, its like driving through down town at rush hour, its a stop and go POS coaster, IT HAS BREAKS ON THE FIRST DROP! TOP SPEED: 1/2 MPH

i confess, i took a pair of glasses, I took off my sun glasses, put on the 3d's, and when the show ended, i unbuckled and walked out without a thought, crazy none of the workers saw them, i didnt realize it untill my friend took them off my face, called me a thief, and wore them around untill we got to the next line p.s.: the world is a diffrent place through 3d glasses

i understand that its not the newest thing out there, and it probably wouldnt draw alot of new visitors or pass holders, but it could be reason for renewal of a pass or something, to tell u the truth, i think its funner than a drop zone or a hellavator, but thats just me, maybe they could make something like a demon drop but taller, wih a tight twist or something as it comes down?

crazy idea, but they could build something like demon drop at Cedar Point, lots of parks have these at about the same size, lets get the biggest one, maybe?

My family took a vacation to orlando last year, and not that mason is orlando, but they have an area that made me think of international when i walked down it, only it was outside of Islands of Advenure, but u had to pay the parks parking and go thru the metal detectors to get in, and when the park closed, nearly half of everyone who was inside went to one of the variety of restaraunts they had to offer, and if my memory serves, they had two seperate cinemas, wich had lines to buy tickets, much like the ones i waited in for the rides. If Kings Island did this they could make a tun of money from businesses buying property, they could move the ticket gates back to where u would take a path to go to an area of the park, maybe build an overpass walking bridge by the ticket area from Action Zone to kiddie land to connect the park again, and the way all the shops on the Action Zones side are conneced, they could have ppl who have paid park admission stamped at this door and they can go in and out as they please through any gates

By the size of those supports i would venture to say it will be SLIGHTLY bigger than the old sign, was the old one there when the park opened or what year did it come about?

i personally don't really see the deterioration on tr:tr, besides, it's supposed to be ruins anyway, but they could keep the little area under the que line inside a little cleaner!

as boodah already said coasters do rust, but not where they are painted, but i always woundered about parts filling up with watter from rain and snow and then freezing, how do they stop disasters like this from happening.

i would think that would cause it to lock up if i didn't go up evenly, that would really suck!

I personally think that SOB is an incredible ride, when rides are too smooth people start to talk about them being boring, i think the shaking and the beating you around it does adds to the fun and excitement, it's not a steel rollercoaster and it never will be, you get rattled pretty well on The Beast, and even The Racers but noone complains about them. I think ppl just want to make an argument for a steel coaster for the money spent on the son.

every rollercoaster i've ever seen has the track that moves and allows them to take trains on and off, but a transfer to use more trains and load multiple trains at once is rarely used.

I've seen several rollercoasters with transfer tracks, and been at parks at high times of the year and never yet seen a transfer track used. is there any one reason anyone can think of as to why

I'm sorry, the other reply on this subject was my younger brother, but i feel they should make a tunnel that encloses part of the big helixs and also one enclosing the bottom of the first drop and base of the loop

i skipped homecomming also, but i think i got a concussion in a hockey game so i couldn't go to pki nor could i crash partys. sorry about all thenon capital i's my shift key quit on the keyboard in my room
