  1. This sucks that I work for PKI, I would love to fill out the survey, but I don't think employees are allowed to.
  2. Sorry Shaggy I retract your "don't hold your breath" comment for the new attraction, as I reread it see it refers to the Kings Island inn.
  3. Oh yeah, one thing Shaggy Premier rides is in Maryland not Ohio
  4. So yes PKI still owns a lot of land, (only about half of what it used to own though, a mistake on there part I feel but what do I know.) But here is the probablem a lot of land is very hilly and would be very costly to develope. and probably the biggiest factor is that the undeveloped land is a buffer between PKI and the growing communities around it. I would venture to say that although PKI only has half of the land developed the park will never grow much larger then it's current size, some rides may go out into the undeveloped area, but I doubt any new midways will be made. With that said let me speculate on where I feel next years attraction will be, atleast part of it. I say look for it to be in the old salt water friends area. The stadium is gone and that side of the cars has been closed for years. The area is actually a large area, and is currenlty very dead. Shaggy has also dropped a couple lines may or may not be hints... As in "An anoucement right around the corner" when refering to the TR display, and "don't hold your breath" (hmm if I remeber there is a lake over there) yeah I am probably reading way too much into this, but hey it's all in good fun right. I personally would love to see PKI take a year off from rides and revamped what they have, ie building upgrades, theaming repairs, a new park sounds system, lighting, front entrance etc... Oh yeah Shaggy is you would every like to talk about PKI history let me know, I love the park and love talking about it's rich history.
  5. From looking at the employee operating calendar it appears that fearfest will be part of normal fall operations. In October the park is only open Saturday and Sundays, and the park is listed as only staying open to I believe 10pm on Saturdays and 8 or 9 on Sundays. I could be wrong with this information, because I am only basing it off of one item I have seen while at the park, and I am not privy to actual park operations other then those concerning my immediate job function.
