A big coaster wouldn't fit in? I don't get it. We have plenty of room for expansion and the south-east side of the park i.e. Rivertown and Old Coney has no tall rides so let's just say hypothetically if the park were to add a tall coaster in that area it would even out the skyline of the park with Drop Zone in the north and tower in the middle. So why exactly wouldn't a tall coaster fit in and why wouldn't the guests like it? I don't know I was just going along with them, I said PKI will not get the big one because the cost is to high and they said PKI will not get one because they don't want it or it don't fit the park. Yes the park is willing to spend the money but Viacom is not going to give it to them.

I see they don't put in big steel because guest don't want it or it wouldn't fit in.

Closed Park Is A Beehive Of Activity

I agree PKI is smart about their expansions, they don't put in the big dollar rides. If they did you would pay more because the same 3 million guest would go just as they do now with low cost rides. Look at Cedar Point their 3 million guest have to pay more. -
Imo the biggest baddest wooden rollercoaster sitting in our park is there because it cost less than a steel coaster its size. The cost is why there is no B&M or Intamin at PKI.

SOB is getting some repairs and mods to the track I wondered if anyone has seen what they have done.

No 20 is good for a park I think their full hookup is only 27 or 28 a day but it adds up if you stay long. You can also get a discount if you have AAA or a season pass. Goto Cedar Point and you will pay 50 to 60 a day for full hookup and that is high.

I did the camping thing for years at PKI and the other parks. I like PKI campground and would have liked to keep going and camping but the cost of doing so is to high. I had a travel trailer with a diesel truck to pull it with and it was great. The cost of fuel and the campsite are twice as much as getting room. It cost even more up the road at Cedar Point. The only way you can save is if you stay in a tent.

Which is your favorite Paramount Picture at PKI?
Captain Picard replied to italianchef's topic in KI Polls
I am not sure either but if I had to guess I would say a new Australian-themed water park.
