Hello all, I am a long time lurker and former KI associate currently residing in Virginia. Because of my location I have not been able to attend the Haunt at KI since the 2008 season, so I am a bit out of the loop on changes that have taken place. Could someone give me the highlights of changes in the attractions in 2009 and 2010. Such as: new haunts, haunts that were removed, moved to new locations, etc. I hope this question is not too similar to other Haunt discussions, and if it is please feel free to lock the topic. Thanks!

From what I have observed every decision that takes place is all about the money. When the time comes in which Flight Deck is costing more to operate (staff, maintenance, etc.) than park officials feel it is adding to the overall profit of the park or when it is felt that something else on that piece of land could yield more profit then there will be no more Flight Deck. As long as it is felt Flight Deck is adding to the financial success of Kings Island, it will stay. Just my opinion.

I'm also considering applying for a job in rides this summer. Does anyone know when they will start interviews? Is there an advantage to getting an earleir interview? I've read that you have a better chance of getting the rides you want in an earlier you interview. Also, do you even have any say in what rides you will work? If so are there "good" or "bad" rides? Thanks!
