Beast. Definently. The hill still gets me and those helixes are insane. My favorite steel is Face/Off, but only if I'm climbing up the hill face down. I love that. Letting go and letting your arms hang down is great. I love the people that are scared of its faces too. I only wish it was straight up like Deja Vu.... oh well.

If they make it anything like the end for National Lampoon's Vacation I'd see it!
-
I always end up swaying my arms to the left or right, I've already forgotten where the larger gap is. But you still gotta put your hands up for that ride.
-
That thing about TTD being my avatar doesn't make any sense. Anyways... a lot of these ideas are great.

How busy has it been in the past? I'm thinking of going Saturday, I wouldn't think it would be that crowded.
-
I searched the site and didn't see anything pertaining to the fireworks. I'm always a PKI morning person so I've never seen them. I guess I'll have to take a little looksee this year.
-
Jeez you take things way to seriously. You'll probably have nightmares tonight about that.
-
Haha. It's not that gross
-
I just don't think many people would go. I'm going to say no.
-
I'll be expecting for some more twins of Delirium. It seems to be a popular ride, as well as not taking very much space.
-
Haha yeah, a couple of kids coming over from KidZone nextdoor and come to see half eaten bodies and stuff. Maybe they could do something in the turnaround in the beginning. Like a big lion cage with the occasional sacrificial lamb thrown in there for shizzle and giggles. Wow, we should be in charge in the new ideas departement.

Well Millenium Forces generator kicked on and sent them over the hill. The people from Magnum had to walk down. It was on my one day stay, but oh well, I still had a blast. TTD twice! I feel bad for the legions of people sitting at the gas station, waiting for the power to come back on. Hopefully that power blip wasn't a bad omen or anything for whats to come.

That's a really nice post. I really enjoyed reading it. Your son is one smart kid.
-
Oh ok. Thanks for clearing that up! I guess I never made the connection that the catch can go down with the car also. It seems a lot less complicated now.
-
That's very good that you didn't bug Jeff. That must get annoying for him if that happens a lot. That's really neat that they have a sign for the guy that's ridden Beast over 4000 times. I want a sign!!! Well I'm going for 250 times this year so I think that's close enough. Can't wait to get my first ride! I'm goin' straight for The Beast.

Ah yes I forgot about that. Doesn't Drop Zone have all kinds of different braking mechanisms? Is that one thing that goes up with it another one? Also, I kindof have wondered this since I saw Drop Zone broken down, when they finally fix Drop Zone and drop it do they give the people any sort of warning? I would think that would be a little scary being that high up and suddenly dropping. I would definently need to change my shorts after that one!

Yeah I've never noticed PKI ever being really disgusting. But Cedar Point is really clean. I would eat of the ground there (and I might already have *wink*). I feel the only thing that PKI is more disgusting in is all the smoking. Most of the garbage on the ground is cigarettes, and it smells like woo woo woo.
-
Yeah I'm almost positive that's correct. They are closed and open up when nessesary. With TTD they use magnets for the brakes, I don't know if they have anything similar to that at PKI.

Yeah guys, if someone did get hit and killed or whatever from that ride then I'm sure you'd start going even crazier all over this board. We're talking about the safety of humans, and I'm pretty sure that's a little more important than "a horrible little light in my eye". Aw man! I want my money back! And my mommy!!!
-
Yeah. You guys really need to lighten up. I think he's callin' you out. . Getting a little worked up are we? I must say, although "the customer is always right," I have to go with the seasoned veterans (AKA employees) on this one. They know their stuff. Plus it's SOB_TOM's park so he makes the rules.

Son of Beast....SMOOTH?!?!?! Wow, those are two words I would never expect to be in the same sentence without the word not. Is the rose bowl the major helixes after the first hill? I sure hope it will stay smooth. Were the Drop Zone seats more comfy? I thought they seemed to be good before, I'm excited to see them now. I can't wait to start having the good times roll. Miss Cleo says it will be fun!

If they can really theme some of that stuff good then I think the Addams Family would be amazing if it was big enough. With a mansion about the size of the castle from Dueling Dragons that could become a major force to be reckoned with in the world of theming.

You think it was scary with the major PKI attractions down? Well I was at Cedar Point the day of the big power outage (lucky me! ) and everything was down. It was like a ghost town. It was so wierd. But there was one thing running from what I could tell. These cars. They run on gas so there was a huge line for that and it was so funny since all of the little kids were smiling and having a great time. People had to walk down from about 2/3 of the way up on Magnum. It was a crazy time.

I think I'm going to go for 250 Beast rides to celebrate the anniversary. Hopefully I'll still like The Beast after all that.

First off, shman I love your screen name. And second, I think it was good that they waited for Drop Zone. I'm much happier that they got a great ride instead of another Bat, not that it's not a good ride it just wasn't quite ready...? You know what I'm talking about.
