  1. Actually, right now they aren't dying down hardly at all. I just got back from going Sun-Tues, and I did the ERT on both days. Monday was Maverick and Tuesday was MF for me. After one ride on each, I went back to check the line and it had already went up to 45 min - 1 hour. And on Tuesday I went to get in line for TTD (to wait til opening at 10) at 9:35 and the line was already backed up clear to the Iron Dragon pond. As a warning, the lines for the bigger coasters are going to be at an hour at minimum all day (even early morning and late night) unless you get lucky somehow. When I was there, the one day Cedar Creek Mine Ride even had a 30 minute wait, and I think that is saying something!
  2. I just heard this one on Monday. My friend and I were standing in Frontier Trail at Cedar Point looking at MF's lift/drop, and a guy right next to us turned to us and said "That's just like Vortex's drop isn't it?" And the other one that day was when I was riding the train. There were two kids and a lady sitting behind me talking. When the train started to roll out of the station, one kid said: "Is this as fast as this goes?" Then the lady said: "No, it will speed up." The next thing I hear out of the other kid is: "Ya know mom, it would go a whole lot faster if you got off!" I was crying I was laughing so hard!
  3. Ive got two about DB. I heard both while waiting in line for DB. 1. Dad with strong southern accent: "This Diamondrattler shoots ya straight outta the ground for up ta 125mph! Thats faster than yer daddy drove ta get here by bout 10 miles an hour!" Guys daughters in unison: "Daddy, yer dumb!" 2. Some guy around 19: "Yeah, they had to take out the Diamondback a couple of years ago." His friend: "Why?" Other guy: "It got way too ugly to look at, and nobody ever wanted to try to ride it. It was pointless, so they took it out." His friend: "Ah, thats too bad. I wish I coulda ridden it." I just about crapped myself cause I was laughing so hard about that second one. The guys were right behind me, and asked me what was so funny. I just looked at them and gave them a big smile and said "nothing, nothing at all."
  4. I heard someone once say that the netting on the turnaround of The Vortex (after the first drop) was put into place after one of the trains "fell off" and landed in La Rosa's So the two people that were talking about this jumped when the train came around, and they ran across the pathway screaming. It gave me a good laugh
  5. Maverick had two occasions this last pre-season I believe where the train didn't make the circuit. One was after the launch and one was in the horseshoe roll I think.
  6. I have weird dreams sometimes that eventually happen, whether it be a week or a year later. That being said, two years ago I kept having a dream that The Racer had forward trains on both sides, and that the one on the Left side derails and falls off to the side, crashing through the track and the people below. Then, the Right side's chain dog completely fails, sending the train down the lift in reverse. The train slams into the turns and crashes in the station. While all of this is happening, my friend and I are standing in the left side of the station waiting in line. As we are being evacuated from the station, we see my friend's boyfriend laying under one of the cars. The weird part is that on the one day I take that friend (out of the 6 other trips I had taken), we see her boyfriend in line on the Right side of The Racer while we're on the Left side waiting. I had told my friend about this dream, so when we saw him, we panicked and left the line. Call us crazy, but, well... the dream was crazy. After the day was over, we laughed it all off. Is that not weird? I mean, really...
