  1. hey look...its one day closer to opening day...the only thing good about waking up at 5:30 on a monday morning.....one day closer to KI opening...
  2. my biggest thrill when i went for the first time in forever last year was walking in and the general smell of the place...and the sound of the fountains....gave me chills....i honestly thought "im home" i look forward to that as well
  3. im def. going to have both my cameras with me on opening day to fully document it (flowers and all) as best as i can as a singular person. and as far as rides...im probably most looking forward to: FoF, The Beast (30th anniversary..woo!), Firehawk, and Top Gun.
  4. i could probably go to Kings Island and not ride a single thing and i'd have a great time due to the atmosphere alone...its awesome
  5. i didn't register before feb 1st so i cant....ahhhhhh bummer.....
  6. anyone have any good tips on photographing/filming rides? and something ive wondered....ive seen some groups get like "back stage" tours and such of rides like The Beast, FoF, and Phantom Theater...and i understand you have to be a part of some groups...how can i become a part of such a group or is that really even possible?
  7. im going opening day for the first time ever and i must say im "wet my pants" excited...last season was the first year i went in over 5 years and i only got to go once so this year i'll be getting the season pass again and probably going just about every free weekend (or week day if i have the chance) possible
  8. anyone excited for anything other than the opening of Diamondback? dont get me wrong thats awesome but there is the whole rest of the park to be excited for too...
  9. i'd love to see the paw prints back...it only makes sence really....plus they were just neat...and like someone else said since The Beast is 30 this year...its perfect
  10. yeah i was more into photographing/filming some of the rides and scenery and obviously not really do anything commercial with them. i was actually trying to think of the best way to avoid photographing people so i wouldn't have to spend a lot of time blurring out faces...thats always a pain
  11. obviously i know there are no cameras allowed on rides and things of that nature but what is their official policy on cameras/camcorders. i'm not talking about the little point and shoot cameras or little sony handycams im talking like decent mid-range cameras (with bigger lenses and higher quality). i'd imagine they're allowed but i haven't found anything official on it and i didn't want to make the almost 2 hour drive just to leave my cameras in the car to bake. if this is posted somewhere quite public...then.....my bad lol...thanks!
