its amazing what you absolutly refuse to ride till after you ride it

well i have my time pre-planned to ki on some of my days off but there are a few days i will do the whole park, i got a new camera so a few days where i do more picture takin then ridin and a few days where i will just ride one or two rides over and over again

i myself never line jump but if you have to go thru a long maze of ques and no-one is coming behind you what is the harm in jumpin the empty ques to get to the back of the line its just rude to get in front of someone and that all boils down to how you were raised and the the ones you do that have no morales except for themselves thank goodness their aint no shoppin carts or you would see people gettin mowed over like at the malls on black friday{a.k.a. the day after thanksgiving}

i love the ride that is the stuff leading up to getting in the station and once i see those cars take off so quick i run out of there cause im a big chiken turd when it comes to that ride

i was born on september 30 1985 and white water canyon opened that same year and i make it one of the last rides i ride before i head home {weather and mood permiting}

i rember amazon falls which is what it was called before the name change to congo falls. when the phantom theater first opened and because i was a wwweeee wiper snapper it scared the crap out of me. also riding the smurf ride before it was changed to the phantom theater. the giant slide near hanna-barberra land that also set next to a blue elephant in the middle of a small fountain and occasionally shot water. also when days of thunder first opened up. and who can forget the keelboat canal ride.

Wow, what a great observation! I personally didn't ever try to "re-create" KI per se--but I did name A LOT of rides after rides at KI. I also had fountains lining both sides of the entrance in one particular park--that idea partially stolen from KI. At KI it's more like fountain(s) in the middle, foot paths to the sides. My creation I guess would have been the exact opposite. One time (and when I say one time I mean three or four) one of my coasters crashed and some people were killed. I thought to myself how a real park (not necessarily KI) would handle this. So, I planted a square of flowers for each life lost near the ride. Did anyone else take it to that extreme? LOL i added one square to the pond every time that happend to me

i work at a gas station and i here ya on the trash issue. it seems like im always pickin up trash i mean its one thing to throw down a napkin out the window cause it will eventually dissolve away but on a parking lot or a plastic bottle that never breaks down unless you melt it to recycle it come on show some pride in where you live.

living in central indiana i can remeber when twisted sisters first opend up for the sfkk park in louisville ky and they had digitally done the two lead singers for twisted sister standing up in the separate cars playing guitars as the passed one another since it is like a duelling coaster

ive also found hit helps to save from sore wrinkly feet if you do that and not wear socks plus that extra drag of damp heavy clothes

I wish more people would follow this rule. I'm getting very tired of seeing people being harassed when they make one simple slip of the keyboard, or when a new enthusiast joins and forgets to read a rule or two so there are 20,000 posts below them with the eye rolling face or the dry face. Then I get PMs and IMs "z0mg I h8 n00bs". It's really starting to get on my last nerve.. not to mention, imagine how it looks to a guest who is reading the forums. We all make mistakes, not to mention we are all here for the same reason, and being a bully is neither mature nor charming. im behind you all the way on that issue

my personal preference i like them all except water rides cuase i burn to easy when im around water but yet i cant stay away from white water canyon so i ride that towards the end of my trip

ok i dont know if this has been brought up before but here goes when you go to any amusement park your bound to ride all the rides;but out of all those rides what is your favorite type/style?

bring back the phantom theater but as a ride in the fx theater to replace sponge bob and his silly pikcle {sorry cant remeber how to spell pikcle} but yeah a former good ride brout back but to have an added experience of the seats moving the thing be in 3-D to make the gost {same here} seem more realistic and it will give the phantom much more free'er movement than the one spot flaillin around like a person havin a stroke

so true terpy but what if you own a peice of memorabilia from the ride like lets say it is your favorite shirt or hat and wore it to the park that lists the park's name what then i fall into this criteria but sadly my favorite beach towel advertising amazone falls {now called congo falls} @ Kings Island {pre paramount days} finally took a dump on me and fell apart but to half way save it i cut it up into shop rags cuase i will always keep it till there aint no more; wwwwaaaaaayyy to many memories attached to it?.

its ok we all hafta toon out every now and then hopefully someone else is driving though
