  1. I agree with most of what's written under this topic, but something else irritated me when I visited last Sunday. Since this was the bring a friend day for season pass holders, the crowd was pretty large. Yet some of the ride operators did not seem to care. I saw what seemed to me too many empty seats on coasters, and the log ride kept being loaded with only 2 or 3 people on a log when the line was starting to build. The worst example by far was at Snowy River Rampage. The line was out the front when I got in it, and was really moving slowly. The employees at the start of the ride were making no efforts whatsoever to combine groups like what I have experienced in past years. I would guess at least a third of the rafts were going out with just 2 people in them. That's inexcusable on a high volume day.
  2. In answer to the question about pictures no longer on the pass, when your pass is scanned at the entrance gate the employee at the gate has a screen and the pass holder's picture comes up on that screen.
  3. I saw the Hanna Barbera film at Universal Florida in 1993. I enjoyed it then. I was thrilled when I saw KI would get it, but it didn't hold up. My kids thought I was crazy saying it was that fun. But at Universal, there was a preshow film, and theming in the theater, that made it an experience. At KI it just felt like an afterthought. Somebody forgot there is such a thing as presentation. That said, I hope something is playing at the Action Theater this year. It's a nice change of pace in a day at Kings Island.
  4. I waited 2 3/4 hours for King Cobra its first year, and thought it was totally worth it. That would be what I miss the most. But now that I have kids, I wish the giant slide were still there, as that was truly fun for all ages. Although my worst experience last year was taking my son on The Crypt (he was now tall enough for it) and then having to explain that wasn't the ride it used to be. Tough to explain those jets of water which are now just a cement floor.
  5. This is my third year as a season pass holder. The first year we waited an hour on the second Saturday KI was opened. Last year we went on a weekday before KI opened and walked right in. Guess which option we'll do this year?
