^Am I the only one that kind of cheered but also had an empty feeling at the same time when Son of Beast was imploded in that teaser video?
I cheered for the fact that I was sick of staring at it with the knowledge that I would never ride it again, but I was sad to see it go for the sake of how much I loved it.

Haha I know. I do still ride it. I just liked it better when it was Scooby Doo.
Don't have to be a kid to ride it! Check out my Avatar haha.Geez I miss being a kid! I loved that ride.

Totally agree. I wish they would get new guns in it. The ones they have right now are starting to go bad. I always try to get a new high score or to beat my friends every visit. We usually ride it 2-3 times a visit, especially on the more dead days. It would be neat to see a full on revamp of it with new guns, themes, and such. Might be asking too much though.

I'll just take a throwback shirt with the Top Gun logo please.

Sunday is a religious holiday for many, and normally requires premium compensation for construction workers. Are they actually working today? I LOVE IT it if they are......tired of virtually EVERYTHING being closed or just stopping all together on sundays.
Also, avoid Chick-Fil-A on Sundays.
But Sunday is usually the prime day that I want Chick-Fil-A

I am still one of the people that doesn't like the change of the name, but I have to say that the ride is looking good with its new facelift so far. I would like to see modification to the cars, or even themed Bat Shaped cars to go along with it. Maybe bring back some theming underneath the loading station, kind of a cave feel. It might change my thoughts on the switch to The Bat.
But in my heart it will always be Top Gun haha.

I really want to do this! I love doing things for charity when I can and to pair it with my love of Coasters just seems right!

The best 3 ride crews that I experienced this summer were as follows:
1. Gemini (CP) - We went on the birthday of the ride opening and the crew was active and fun the entire time!
2. Gatekeeper (CP) - Always fun people working this ride. We saw about 3 different combinations of people for the day and they were all nice and pleasant.
3. Diamondback (KI) - Went during a power hour, and the pace that the employees were going was awesome while still being super enthusiastic and interactive.

I would love to do park history trivia on Delerium. I don't think it would be as easy as it is on Zephyr though, which is where I've had that happen before.

The sole negative I see is the amount of commercialism of other brands all over that they practice at the Six Flags parks. Although I see why they do that from a business standpoint.

I think Gatekeepers problems are solely based on size differences of patrons, which is obvious.
I like the idea of the restraints, but personally I had an issue with them hurting my collar bone. With that being said, I trust that B&M is woking on the issue before Banshee's cars ship.
As for the "fat row", I had a pretty hard time getting on Wicked Twister at CP, yet I fit comfortably on every ride other than it at the park. I am a huskier guy, 5'11 235lbs. I know its the seat design/train design, but at the same time, the placement of the buckle on that ride is terrible. I got my 2 clicks comfortably, but couldn't get the buckle, so I ended up stapling myself. Just had to throw this in since it was discussed.

It's the Sling Shot ball.
Exactly what I though when I saw it.

I love the set changes! That would be something fun to see in some of the newer shows. Maybe as an homage to this.

As you can see in my avatar, I do like Boo Blaster, mainly as a contest between friends than anything. I would've loved to see a more traditional dark ride, like Phantom Theater go in when the CF changeover occurred, but I could've taken it either way.
Phantom Theater definitely had a certain charm to it that I really loved. I am happy to see that various props are used throughout the Haunt though.

Backwards or Forwards that ride will forever be one of my favorites in any park. I wish it had the BW experience, but having done it so many times when I was younger, I'm glad to have the memories of it.

We rode 2 weeks ago near the back of the train, very rough. Rode yesterday in car 2, much better.
We rode train 2 the other day, and i can honestly say I prefer the back train.

That would be awesome to see the scare rooms! Might be too intense for some, but I would love this!

Wow, Oldiesmann, great pictures! I didn't realize that many other track pieces had arrived. I'm really looking forward to track placement. I would love if it could be topped out by the final weekend of haunt. More would be great. I just want the fantastic photo ops.
I had the same reaction to the pictures. I knew at least 3 had shown up, but I counted what looked like 6 so far.

If its what I think you're talking about, its right next to the launch station right?

BeastFoverver, I love your Banshee "ride count"
Just saw that. I'm about at 15 POVs during the day and 10 at night.
As far as Invertigo goes, i'm not a huge fan myself. Its not that its a bad ride, but I think its played out. Boomerangs are definitely fun to ride, but after a while it gets kind of boring.
I would love to see something like Green Lantern go in, but I don't think Invertigo should leave. I'd be cool with it staying for the fact that I love the way it looks.

For me its 50/50 anymore. Half of the day its running amazing, then it just fails out of nowhere.
-
There is a lot of stuff that would make my day, but our park never plays it. Heck the only time I've heard music that I enjoy at an amusement park was during luminosity at CP.

I've perfected the art of pocket stuffing in cargos, so no need.

The Beast, and with that I would be waiting in line with a tasty funnel cake! Perfect ending to me.
New Ride Coming to Coney in 2014

What would you think of them using some of the area around DA that isn't being used currently for a ride like this? Add it into the ticket cost of the exhibit. It would make the area have a longer lasting memory to those who go, and make people want to stay in the area longer if they have a chance to ride a ride while there too.
Maybe i'm overthinking it.
