^ I would say that the topper track still qualifies as wood.

Neither park is going to get a looping coaster in the near future. SoB was just demolished a year ago.
Now, Carowinds or KD? Maybe, those are far enough away where people probably wouldn't think of SoB. I still doubt it, because CF seems to only get their wooden coasters from GCI.

I think if Delirium were to be renamed it would be PukeMonster Sent from my Kindle Fire using Tapatalk 2
I'll have a lot of fun saying that one!
DB96, running for the exi- Hey! There's a gift shop here!

They actually seem to be different colors, according to my Photoshop analysis. Note that this isn't exactly scientific.

What a quack.
DB96, being punny.

"They need to just make a new roller coaster. Kings Island needs a change ."
Because there is nothing being built right next to The Bat. Move along, nothing to see there.

An entire amusement park is going to KI? I've read everything...
Diamondback96, not really being helpful.
Anyway, I'd just remember to have fun. That's the most important thing to do at any amusement park.

Adventure Express used to park trains on the lift too back when they ran 3 train operation!
Correct...
Under 2 train operation the second train is parked (usually) on lift 2.
This is false because that's not how they do it on the Cedar Creek Mine Ride at Cedar Point.
Cedar Point and Kings Island are to complete different parks.
That, my friend, was sarcasm.
Diamondback96, being helpful (or not!).

Nope. California's Great America, just to mention one park:
- in California.
- owned by Cedar Fair.
- no such policy on glasses.
I was referring to me going there at all.
You interpreted too much.

Why does Cedar Fair allow this ridiculously variation of policy through out their chain? It sure makes it difficult for the visitor. For instance the entrance polices above, and glasses allowed on rollercoasters at one park and not the other. The hodge-podge of policy makes it look unorganized to me and I'm sure some stock holders would feel the same.
Differing policies might partially be due to local regulations. Those things you specifically mentioned should be standardized. Like Terpy, I will knott go to a park that does not allow me to wear glasses even with them secured.
(That may be because said park is in California.)

^^KI could only run any car of DB backwards if B&M approves of it, due to Ohio laws. Even if B&M approved of this, I doubt KI would even do it.
Also, KI most likely won't repaint DB's supports until the paint is noticeably fading. I believe the changing paint is to make the lift hill stand out more.

Nonsense. Had Mr. Kinzel not bought, another park or chain would have.
Such as Nagashima Spa Land.

Raging Wolf Bobs never reopened after the derailment.

Surf Dog.
Even though many don't consider it a coaster.

What great ideas would those be that wouldn't forever change the character of Holiday World? Funtime said it wasn't going to dramatically change Geauga Lake.
I thought GL had the same character throughout the Funtime ownership, and Premier/Six Flags ruined it?

It's some sort of building... the blue makes me think of the Blue Streak/old Pirate Ride area. That could just be my wishes coming through though.

IIRC, my feet don't fit well on FoF.

I doubt they'd have a family announce a Mean Streak renovation.

Did you copy the entire webpage?
Also, don't put full articles here, it's best to either put a quote or just the link.

I could see it happening. Especially if "a employees" is Don.
Otherwise, no. Not happening, it's too much of a liability.

Thanks, Terpy.
As for that one... I'd ride... uhh... this is hard... I guess... The Beast? Then I'd do like the characters in Left 4 Dead and gather 3 others, fight our way to the Eiffel Tower, and then head for the top to reach our helicopter ride.

I wouldn't take the chances. What if, in the future, I find a cure for cancer or another disease/disorder? I, or anyone else in this world, could be the only person able to ever do that, or more likely, the discovery would be set back.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that our lives are too valuable to waste just to ride a silly ride one last time.
Edit: What was the original scenario?

I'm sorry for referencing an old post, but I couldn't resist:
Am I the only one who thinks the supports are more purple than blue?
They look kind of purplish to mee too. And I'm a Macbook with retina display. Also, Vortex has purple/blue supports, i don't care what anyone says
Macbook Air or Pro?
That's kinda rude, don't you think?
Now that's out of the way, I'll add something to the current discussion: I would say Cedar Point isn't really competing against the California or Florida parks. They're limited by the length of their season. I'd say it's in between a regional and a destination park.
