  1. I still think a elevator might be the better option, it is amazing how much weight the motor will be carrying. I mean it will have to lift hundreds of trains up a 307 foot tall lift every day.
  2. Actually, when Leviathan's details were released, I thought that the problem with it might be the chain, because all of the Intamin Gigas have an elevator cable which is used to make it a safer climb. This is the only thing I can think of that might be a problem with Leviathan.
  3. Thanks for sharing! The Eiffel Tower looks kinda spooky to me in that pic.
  4. You do have a point. I am suprised that the first giga didn't come to Kings Island, because CF seems to use Kings Island as the test dummy. Like with Dinosuars Alive and now my guess is that a lot of Halloween Haunts will get a "Holiday Horror" for which KI is the first park to get that kinda maze.
  5. Now, lets see. A way long ago, when I was a new member here, I mentioned the fact of a giga coaster maybe coming to Kings Island in the near future, and a LOT of you said "No way!" Now, it seems that one is very likely to come to Kings Island in the future.
  6. I am glad that Don will hopefully be keeping us updates with pics of construction.
  7. It was the BEST year I have ever had! Thank you Kings Island to a great year!
  8. Um, Closing day the past few years has been dead, the most you should wait is 5 minutes.
  9. I think it just could have been a little longer. Other than that, it was great! Holiday Horror was another fav of mine.
  10. Really, before all of these WindSeekers and Dinosuars Alives were coming, I noticed that Cedar Fair added a lot more rides than family rides, like Behemoth, Diamondback, Intimidator, and more. And now, the only major ride that Cedar Fair is adding is Leviathan. I think that they are just trying to make a good balance of rides and attractions at each park. While it may seem that they are making every park the same, I think after a majority of parks get these attractions or other family attractions, the roller coasters and thrill rides will come back. The only parks I object a Dinosuars Alive at is Great America, obviously because of the lack of room, Cedar Point, for which it seems silly to have it under Millenium Force. It won't feel like you stepped back into time because you will hear the sound of technology, you will hear Millennium Force. Cedar Point and Great America are the only parks I object to a DA! at. Every CF park I think should get a WindSeeker, ESPECIALLY Michigans Adventure should get a WindSeeker and DA! for which the two attractions were made for that park.
  11. Cedar Point needs Fast Lane, sorry for people who pray that they don't get it. If other parks get it, make sure to limit how many people get on at a time.
  12. 45 minutes for Flight Deck? I don't even wait 10 for it!
  13. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Its closed! Why? I loved riding it in the back seat! Smoother than Diamondback! Just joking, I recently went to CP for my first time, and being an idiot, rode Mean Streak towards the back, and some mysterious words came out of my mouth.
  14. CoasterGeek101 is a Holiday Horror lover.
  15. Really, my thoughts on this is that Kings Island SHOULD limit how many they sell. And with Tombstone Terror Tory, they should only let a certain amount of Fright Laneers on at once and with the other attractions. The reason why people hate these things is because they have to wait longer in line. If they did, then Fright Laners would eventually do everything once and it would stop. I mean if the limit they sell each night is maybe 200, then once they are done, they are done. Nevertheless, I DO think that every other park should get Fast Lane for rides, and Fright lane, BUT they should VERY MUCH limit how many Fast Laners go in at a time. They can wait for a few minutes to make it fair for other people. These things are designed for people who maybe only go once a year and want to do as much as they can. Those are my thoughts.
  16. ^^I have seen busier, but Diamondback looks like it is easily an hour.
  17. I wonder if KI has safety stuff like that in their haunted houses.
  18. I saw it. I got some pics of it, if anyone wants me to post them.
  19. Sorry dude, but if it is good weather, it could very well be wall to wall. Saturdays are always the most crowded. If you really want to do all of the Haunt's get FrightLane.
  20. GREAT job summing up the history of haunt! Thanks for doing that! It was fun to read. I have a few pics for 2011, should I PM them to you?
  21. Yeah, a little. It is very close to where Howlofest is.
  22. I did it Opening Night, and it was great. Really good food, but make sure to get at the park at 6 so you have time to walk all the way back to Picnic grove.
  23. ^^Sure thing. But I do agree, alot of factors go into it, I might edit this post a little when I visit Haunt again.
  24. I am 13. I wasn't scared, so maybe he won't.
