Makes me wonder... Who will get "first dibs"? Park employees, contest through Twitter, or opening up the auction to everyone at once. Also, I'm sure if the park were to sell cars, lapbars, logos used on the ride, etc would also rake in some money for the park. Orders will be taken by phone. Quantiies are limited so if you are wanting one of the items that will be available, you will need to act fast. Do you think the parts will become available after or before the season is over?

After just looking at Kings Island's Timeline located on their website, http://www.visitkingsisland.com/media-center/timeline There is a transition between every year starting with a new ride then the next year a area getting redone, starting with the 2003 season. 2003- Delirium, Scooby Doo & The Haunted Castle, Spongebob Squarepants 3D 2004- The redone and expanded Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay Waterpark opens 2005- Italian Job: Stunt Track 2006- Nickelodeon Universe 2007- Firehawk 2008- Rides recieve new names all throughout the park 2009- Diamondback 2010- Planet Snoopy 2011- WindSeeker & Dinosaurs Alive 2012- Soak City 2013- ????? With this guess, I think Kings Island will be recieving another ride in 2013? Who knows.... Im just guessing. Tell me what you guys think.

I think they just wanted to use a blue coaster track because the cup itself is blue. Unless they are hinting something...

Hendrick , Invertigo was painted blue this season.

I like what the park is doing by painting most of the old Boomerang Bay water rides.

Im not saying 2,000 people will be a deciding factor but it's still a impact. As small as it may be its still something, and the park does look at the page I get frequent messages from Ki officials.

Im not behind this just to say oh this is my favorite ride lets re-open it! Trust me I understand everything concerning the ride and the situation with this, the page has been around for over 2 years. No one knows the fate of the ride, so anything can happen.

I applied in mid December and recieved a email and a phone call about late January, I went in for my Interview last saturday (2-18-11) and was hired on the spot for the Games Department, they stopped me half way through and just hired me then I signed and finished some paperwork. This will be my first of many seasons with Kings Island and I hoping its going to be a great year!

It will be very sad if Son of Beast and also The Crypt will both be standing but not operating (SBNO) in 2012. Hopefully a announcement will come soon from the park Concerning both rides.
