King's Island did indeed have a Ferris Wheel in Octoberfest. I know the exact reason behind its removal, but that information is classified.

I don't think it was a great moment for the people coming down from the Eiffel Tower as well as the AM's that had to escort them down. Probably terrifying for anyone.
