One thing I do find odd is the Six Flags in New Orleans, they didn't scrap nothing from the rides or take any ride parts. most theme parks i've seen abandon reuse or scrap stuff but it is left the way it was before the storm... The rides still don't look all that bad either! Also i've seen this tree somewhere else...

Giving everything a stronger feel to it's theme. 1.International street has foods/shops form all around the world. 2. Coney Mall has music from it's era and signs and clothing 3A. X base has gates (that are open) with fake barbwire at the top (but looks real) that lead into the X base and before you reach the gates (right under The Racer) their is no trespassing signs and restricted area signs on the gate and around it. 3B. X Base: Every so often at night you will hear gun shots back in the woods and near by, you will also hear weird creature sounds. lights will flash down in woods with the gun shots. their will also be tree branch movement. example of possible sound: 3C. At the X base their will be random 1-2min blackouts (at night) of the lights back their and blinking red lights will turn on and a siren will wail and all heck will break loose. 4. For The Beast the old SOB crate will be sitting back by The Crypt, their will be smoke coming out and the box will be shaking and rawring style sounds will come out. Their will be some big foot prints leading back into the woods (right next to box). For added effect during the day and night ride of The Beast their will be fog in the first tunnel and at the end of the tunnel their will be two red lights that are barely visible. 4B.(during haunt) Their will be a dummy near the track (at the turn after the tunnel) with blood all over it and a blood trail. I will give more idea's when I can think of more... Note: for 3C the blackouts will ONLY be outside FoF.

Paramount style rides (with movie rights) but maintain the rides like Universal Orlando. (by that I mean a ride will stay closed for every short period of time and rarely is closed all day or more than hour for that matter.) Reason I didn't say Universal style rides cause it is nice to ride them on a occasion.

I truly wonder is 1972 was the start of their decline... If it was, I wonder if/when the same will happen to KI?

I know company's like their money but come on! I think that is to far... I think instead charge $35 for Fast Lane and get to ride each ride only ounce... then offer Fast Lane plus for $60, gives you unlimited rides on everything...

I would like to see it go backwards again...

Did anyone else read the title as "Tasers"? How about a roller coaster made out of.... wait for it... chocolate! Just don't ride it in the summer... "Welcome to the county court office ma'am. what can I help you with?" "I was riding on some chocolate and it must of been to hot because the chocolate began to melt and the ride feel apart. I went to the hospital and found out I popped a blood vessel! So I would like to sue Kings Island!" (lady at the desk) "Oh my gosh! That's terrible! (picks up phone and dials a number) Hello? Ah yes I need you to come and take this lady to a insane asylum... (hangs up) Have a great day!"

I have plans of doing Ride Op assist. I have a high level of patience and very nice. I used to do admissions at a family ran place and was during the fall season so i'm used to the colder weather and used to the occasional upset person. Hot will take some getting used to (like warm/hot weather over cold any day though). Rain, I think it would be kind of fun to work in rain! I remember riding The Beast (Paramount era) in a down pour, it was really fun I thought! I think hardest part for me might be turning away the lil ones that want to ride...

Thank You! Sorry I didn't think of this earlier but do you usually get free tickets for friends and family's and any discount on in park merchandise and food? Not trying to sound greedy cause free entrance to every CF theme park is more than I expected and is very nice, but I was just wondering if you get anything else.

I have 2 questions. 1. Do they hire even more people in the summer? 2. If you have a job their does your name badge ID card (I don't know if you get a ID card or not) get you into the park for free? like the days you have off and want to go to the park will your name badge get you in like a gold pass?

To be honest i'm surprised with the amount of people who don't care as long as park is open. so many were happy with CF running KI instead of Paramount, but yet their is so many that don't care as long as KI is open... note: that is not judging anyone but I find it a bit odd. P.S. Like your pic HTCO.

Do you think KI will continue to be owned by CF? I think KI will stay with CF.

Another factor could be if the population near KI increases. I think a increase in amount of attendance for this year.

I think things are really looking up for KI, or down depending on how you look at it.

When the power outage happened o. July 4th a few years back I think guests should of got a free ticket. King of ironic story fo go with it. I was getting ready to get of FoF like 3 people away aand ride closed due to power outage. Waited a good time for tht too.

Imagine your in line for The Beast been waiting for an hour+ and ride breakes down. You will be pretty upset. What if to ease some of the anger the park offered a one time use free Fast Lane ticket to everyone In line? Stuff like that I think it would be nice if the park offered a free one time use Fast Lane ticket.

I wonder how much it would be to get the rights back for Backlot at least? I loved the name, the fog, fire, water spraying, even the doors that closed on the Mini Coopers to make it feel like a car and a movie style ride! It would probably make the ride decently more busy with just the name change back to Italian Job. Control panels and clip boards still say Italian Job last I checked.

Can anything be said about the Fountains that Mr.Ouimet said their will be changes to? Will it happen this year?
