Sorry, not what I had in mind, and will ONE more Son of Beast thread kill anyone. I did not just start this thread for the sake of it, I try not to do that.

We all know that Son of Beast in going to be torn down ( and if you didn't, now you do ). I have read on some threads that have said we shouldn't expect any thing big because SOB is being torn down and that will cost a lot. I was wondering how much it costs to tare down a structure of that size and is that much and does it take big of a chunk out of KI's budget.

I agree I would love a dive machine and a record breaker one would be awesome, or a giga dive machine imagine that. I would always go for a giga too though.

How will we be able to watch this presentation(if possible)?

I remember there use to be a topic about this, and I have searched and searched for it but could not find it. Ok so I an just going to get to it, so I was wondering if there is a date or sertin time they make the announcements for the new attraction. I remember that people had said that it happens all through out the year, but I also remember that they said spificly for 2012/2013 was going to be announced late august. Am I just plain out wrong or am I right can someone clear this up for me.

I was their that day. We got in line for top thrill dragster twice both times it broke down never got to ride it. Glad you had fun.

I was at Cedar Point a couple of days ago and we stayed in the breakers. One of the benefits of staying there you get early rides times (like with a gold pass), so on Tuesday we entered the park at a little after 9:00. We decided to head back to Maverick their was a very lite drizzle. When we got there the guy that sits out side the entrance with the stick told us the ride was closed we asked if it were to stop drizzling would it open up and he said he didn't know. We toke a chance and waited to see if were to open it soon it was almost 9:30 now we had been standing the rain for fifteen minutes the rain began to stop and the ride ops dispatched an empty train and it stop on the break run and sat there behind the station and about fifteen minutes later they said on a speaker to us all (there was a lot of people in line with us) that they were experiencing mechanical problems with the ride (remember the rain had stopped). So all of the line dispersed, we headed to Millennium Force. When we arrived there it wasn't open and their was a bit of a line in front of us out side the entrance (it is about 9:40 now and there is no rain) we waited about ten minutes then and empty train flew by us and pulled in to the station a couple minutes after that a train with two people (ride ops most likely) flew by in another train and seemed to be having a blast in the front seat. I was really starting to get annoyed they dispatched about a dozen more trains with ride ops in them every other time they finally opened at around 10:30. I rode it and loved it but I am still Rather annoyed that a lot of the rides didn't open till then or after (Maverick didn't open till like noon). Could some one explain the procedure to open a ride for me? Am I just unlucky or has any one else had some thing like this happen.

I think brand train would be nice, but they should keep the old train too. If they were to build a new train I think it shoul go all around the park with multiple stations throughout the park so it could be used to transport people from side of the park to another.

I think they should just expand Planet Snoopy to keep up the record. But a new kids area would be nice too.

By chance is any else going?

Is the announcement tomorrow? 8/13/12 If it is I am going to the announcement.

If Kings Island were to get Winterfest wouldn't all Cedar Fair parks get it also.

As long as has a few pretty decent launchs I'll have no problem.

I would like a water coaster, but with a launch. If not that, I would like slide with eithier a slide with a vertical loop or a vertical drop (like 90 degrees).

Yeah in a realistic world probably not, but in my fantacy any thing can happen. BACK TO REALITY What do you think will replace Sonny?

probably alot but that mean them must have some thing big planned for that space. I'd like a wing rider/4d or giga (B&M or Intamin)

correct me if I'm wrong (and this is just a suggestion) I belive it would be cheaper(or a better deal) to get a two day ticket instead of one starlight pass and a normal ticket. P.S. Fast Lane is up to you but on monday you could spend 10 minutes at guest services and ask them about their projestions for tuesday. buy tickets online and if its is raining you probably shouldn't buy Fast Lane. I know from personal experience.
