It is obviously up to preference. But the ride is also a factor. Such as if you like airtime the back is wear you want because if your in the front your allready pretty far down the hill before you pick up speed, but in the back you get whipped over hill very fast. For me it mostly about the air time but for some rides the front does have soom benefits in certains circumstances. Like when i rode the manta ( at seaworld ) we rode in the font one time and in the back the other time. I found the time in the front much more enjoyable then in the back. But that ride a flying coaster with a lot of scenery. but for most rides the back is where it's at

yeah i can see a haunt attraction that is like a cave sort of theme. Has a lot of potential to scare the crap of people.

I'm not sure if this falls under the category you are looking for, but when my freind and i were riding the cedar creek mine ride at Cedar Point. We were sitting in the back ( best spot to sit ) and the person in front of us was wearing a hat ( not the smartest thing to do ), and in the middle of the ride it came flying off. some how i caught it. The kid was rather sad and thought he had lost it for good but at the end of the ride we gave it back and was so happy to recieve his hat.

I would love a new giga but i have a soft spot for flightdeck. I think they would have plenty of room for a giga if they were to remove SoB, and if they do need to remove a ride that is completly functional ride, i'd vote for AE.
