  1. Am I the only slightly disappointed with the angle of the roof? I was hoping for it to a bit steeper. I guess that is just how I see a church and/or awesome buildings.
  2. Is it just me or has the awesome-ization of The Bat slowed down?
  3. *Cough* Trams *Cough* *Cough* Cedar fai... *Cough* Get new *Cough* Trams...
  4. That is the most on topic thing that I have read on this thread in a while.
  5. To be honest I wouldn't care for a surprise tunnel like has been discussed above and back. If we had an underground tunnel in with the track fully dove into some sort of hole or cave that would be cool. But really if we get anything it'll be some ugly metal tube sticking out like a sore thumb in front such an amazing sight. A ditch would be more excepible but I would really just prefer to fly over an celtic graveyard if you don't mind rather than through two walls of concrete(well I guess not through, but between.)
  6. This is business, Disney thinks they can introduce young children going to the parks to the franchise and make even more money. See Marvels campaign, creating content for all age groups, essentially raiding lovers of the comic so they are always with them. My brother adores The Ultimate Spider-Man, my mom and dad and I watch Agents of SHEILD on Tuesdays and go see the movies. When jakes grows up he will do the same...
  7. Fastlane plus exists, it is here, it ain't going anywhere. I strong believe that Banshee will be a part of the plus category. It is what the general public expects aswell, they would expect for the new ride to be in the most premium sub-catogory. Why not have three extra on plus? As terp has said many times, " you haven't seen nothing yet."
  8. If I have learned anything from Parks and Rec is that saying sorry admits fault and makes them liable for what happened, Cedar Fair doesn't want that.
  9. The first thing that went through my head was "challenge accepted!" But in all honesty you do take awesome photographs, I actually have a few sliding through a playlist of wallpapers on my Laptop.
  10. It isn't Firefly, let it die!
  11. They should remove the desolate Crypt off the map, and just add it in during the haunt, that really bothers me for some reason. They should also make Fli.... The Bat stand out more, but being next to Banshee... Maybe point more towards the shows they offer? I'm not sure about much else, I really like the the current maps style, and the way it is drawn.
  12. I know this may come as a shock to a lot of you, but I actually voted for the other category. Considering Manta apart of that. Manta is my favorite coaster I have ever rode, in some ways it was my first "big" coaster, it was a major transition for me too some bigger rides like Top Thrill Dragster and Diamondback, and even The Kraken that resided with in the same park. I remember vividly the first time I gazed upon the beautiful blue masterpiece. My friends and I were staying at the Sea World renaissance hotel so just over the way we could see the fantastic park awaiting us. To be perfectly honest, I was quite nervous about riding it. But I ended up climbing into the front seat with my friends, all in a row. With in minutes we were brought to horizontal position and ascending the lift. I let my head hang as I looked down upon the netting over the midway. We began to crest the top of the hill and we picked up speed flying so incredibly smooth. I just found the entire experience awesome. It proved to me that even I was scared to ride something that I would still enjoy it in the end(well... Mean Streak...). Some things that make Manta so awesome aren't something you'd might expect. For one the queue is outstanding. Incorporating an aquarium is very good, considering you are in Sea World. The feel of is really cool and entertaining while you wait in lines. The landscaping is also an important part to it. The foliage and way it is maintain and was designed is very nice and welcoming. The pond you dive over actually makes for a convincing pond (I'm looking at your Diamondback ). And it is just an all around great ride. DISCLAIMER: That is probably the only exception to my precious Firehawk...
  13. Judging by the improvement of our "sister" park, Kings Dominion is receiving I would be willing to bet not only will the floral clock be with us for quite awhile but will receive a lot more love making it a functional teller of time that guests can look upon with awe.
  14. But it isn't the same to not be able to watch a graceful cloud of dust erupt from the ground with the swift swipe of the boot and have it lethargically drift away dissipating through the wind.
  15. I'm pretty sure we have the same thing. Plus don't we have Banshee ice cream now?
  16. We are still Paramount's in their book... Awe...
  17. I see that as one step towards International Street Renovations coming soon. We did see them get painted in fall so... A hopeful fan, with his fingers crossed...
  18. ^^ Probably something none of could afford.
  19. "BAH BAH BAH BAH BAH, please keep you hands in the car at all times!" - The Beast Lift Hill Who can't love it!
  20. Wouldn't they have to run electricity back there regardless of trims, they'd want at least some sensors back there right? A fan who could be wrong.
  21. Although it is indeed very beautiful, it appears that you just copied the link, which it will continue to update so when it melts we won't be able to see it anymore... To properly showcase it's majesty I would: 1. Right click on webcam that you want to paste 2. click Open Image in new tab (this step isn't always necessary) 3. Then right click on it again 4. Click "Save Image As..." 5. Save it and then upload it to an photo hosting site like Photobucket or Flickr. 6. Then copy the url that is encoded in BB code which looks kind of like this: [URL=http://notarealsite.com/notarealimg.png.html] [IMG]http://notarealsite.com/notarealimg.png[/IMG][/URL]
  22. To sort of kind of get back on topic I will explain my theory or idea (I need to cut down the X-files). So some us have noticed some changes in the Adventure Express queue area, and me, as always, coming up with craz... creative ideas that might possibly be coming to life. I shall next explain my craz... creative idea. Now as I mentioned above there has been some movement in Adventure Expresses queue area, and yes I know Don said that the queue has not been torn down, but as we know our lovely PR is always very concerned with how he words, and phrases things. So if we look at a webcam photo... (Yes I know it isn't up to date, but it is dark outside so bare with me.) Now what I was thinking is that we might possibly see a modified queue for Adventure Express, and a new pat that travels behind slingshot ands along the first drop of Banshee, leaving for an even more photogenic area that we first imagined! Aswell as short cut for those who see it drop from Coney Mall, and think "hey that looks cool lets go ride that" and then see there is a new direct path to it! And just image the possibilities for this, a new area that could be its own rather than just a subsection of ActionZone that has two entrances, one from Coney and one from Action Zone. They could have a nice manicured lawn [or not depending how they want to play this] with grave stones, and trees that could be on either edge of the path to add to the awesomeness. And they could aswell add places to eat, stores, games and all sorts of other things. Just a fan, thinking out side the zone.
