Ok...thanks everybody! What the heck is a mufflehead?

Im flying out of Tampa today, will be in Dayton by 6, and twelve hours later will be enroute to Sandusky. Then I'll be doing KI for the 4th. Instead of waiting until the whole trip is over with, I thought I'd post as I go along. REALLY looking forward to Cedar Point. My 9 yo son has never been, and it's been 20 years for me. Have to say that I'm a little concerned though. The attitude that I get from the Point fb page is that I shouldn't be expecting all of the rides to be running on the day I visit. Almost like, unless I spend 3 days there, it would be naive of me to assume Id get to ride everything, because of maintenance issues. I know all parks have to deal with this. Heck, Sheikra was down for two months earlier this year for a paint job and maintenance. However,BG is open 365 so when are they gonna do it? So we'll see how it goes. Thinking positive, ready to ride! ( cue the Chariots of Fire theme song as my son and I make a mad dash for the front gate )

Geeezzzz! So I read the autism thread, then I come over here to find everyone complaining about waiting as well. Maybe you all should just go see a movie or something. I heard World War Z is pretty good. Just sayin. :-\

Does anyone know if KI has ever sold out fast passes/plus for the day? They advertise "limited quantities", just wondering.

I dunno...I could see if they put a picture of Wendy on there, only instead of a redhead she's a brunette...something like that. I could never confuse a Wendy's frosty with a "frosties" from my freezer at home...even if it has red letters and yellow packaging.

I haven't rode the Streak in well over 15 years...will be giving it another shot next week. When Gwazi opened here at BG in 99, my first reaction was...Last time my back and neck felt this way was on.... Anyway, they replaced the trains on Gwazi a few years ago, which did seem to improve the ride. Didn't last long though. Gwazi is just to rough for me. The Tiger side hasn't ran in forever, and rumor has it Gwazi will be gone by 2015,16. I remember this at Cyprus Gardens....I think it's great it's going back to the beach. I just find it amazing how a coaster can be torn down and rebuilt and moved again and again. I live here and have yet to ride the rip rocket. Every time I've been there the piece o crap has been down. Glad you got to ride it. :-)

The ride ops here at Busch Gardens do a pretty good job. Then again, we're allowed to drink in line. So if they're stacking, my friends and I haven't noticed. :-D
