  1. Okay, I understand. Thanks in advance. It's gonna be a thrill. c:
  2. Okay, thanks a lot for the advice. I understand there is no reentry after 7 pm. Why is this, though? Also, do the mazes cost extra money? Sorry, I'm full of questions. ^^
  3. If you buy a regular ticket for Kings Island, can you still access the Halloween Haunt? Please tell me the details. I am going on Saturday and want to be allowed to be in the park later in the night. xD
  4. First of all, if it was my desision, we wouldn't be going on a Saturday to Kings Island, because the later into the year you get the longer the lines and the more people there are. Especially on Saturdays. But there is supposed to be a cold front coming in later in the week (coldest air since April) and I was wondering what I should wear. I am thinking shorts and a hoodie because I tend to get hot easily and jeans might be uncomfortable if I get sweaty. What do you recommend? We are going on the 5th of October.
  5. Hands up, feet up? Consider it a deal, LOL. I will definitely do that. Scare the crud out of me, maybe, but I'll be bound to enjoy it. Diamondback ftw. <3 The back is the best, you say? I want to try the back. xD Or the front. Seriously, anything will do. I'm just hoping I don't get that extra click so I can go flying the whole time. cx I am very excited. I even dreamped about how it would feel. /obsessed.
  6. I hope I don't get that last click, haha! Anyone know the best seats to ride on the Diamondback? The best airtime, perhaps? xD
  7. Thank you so much! Very helpful and very kind of you to help me out with this. I was going to go all-in front of the Diamondback but maybe I should get used to drops first. ) Drop Tower sounds really awesome. I will be sure to ride that lol. Okay, thanks! I plan on getting there early so I will give it a shot. Is the slingshot as good as the Xtreme Skyflyer? Both are paid attractions, I know. Good idea. I'll be sure to bring some water and pain killers. I'm not sure if I'll get a headache from my head being shaken around a lot but then again, pays to be prepared! I will be sure to tell you what I did, how I felt, etc when I come back. I'm sure I'll have a blast. 8D I really want to have some airtime on The Vortex, so I'll try to sit in seat 7-1 if I can grab it. x3 Otherwise, I'll try and sit in 5-1 or something. I'm not sure yet, lol. I love airtime though. Oh, and I heard that if your seatbelt doesn't do another click you can get some crazy airtime on the Diamondback, is that true?
  8. Sounds like a blast. All I've ever ridden is fair rides, which seem like kids rides to most amusementparkists. XD I simply can't wait. Thanks for all the tips. If my phone smashed on the ground while riding a ride I definitely wouldn't have much fun the rest of the day, haha. I'm planning to wear cargo shorts with button-up pockets, a black tee shirt (despite the sunrays beating down on me, it's very comfortable), broken-in tennis shoes, and bring about $ 40 with me for food. I'm not planning on buying any suveniers because they are outrageously priced and I don't really need to waste money on any. I might bring a backpack with me for extra stuff (swimsuit, flip flops, sunscreen, hand sanitiser, extra socks, extra tee shirt, extra pair of shorts, sunglasses, water bottle if I decide to bring one, etc). I do understand that this will be a little unconvienient having to haul it around with me lal day, though. Fanny packs just are't my thing, and I need to bring some extra stuff although I won't really be able to head out to the car that much considering the day I have planned for us.
  9. Dang - you haven't been to an amusement park? You will be so happy once you visit. And once you ride Diamondback and The Beast, you will care for rides for the rest of your life. Nope. Surprisingly, I've never been. Going with a group of friends finally. I wanted to go a couple years ago but didn't get the chance. I cannot WAIT to ride Diamondback or Vortext or The Beast. I'm going mid August so I have some time to plan everything else out. Sadly, our group is stuck going on a Saturday so the rides will be a pain, but we will enjoy every minute nonetheless. x3
  10. Lol, a surprise? Seriously, they look huge and scary but I'm not afraid of heights, lol. Oh, and any tips on saving money at the park? I don't have the option of leaving to get fast food or packing a cooler. And if I brought a water bottle, how much do they inforce the no food/drink rule? I've heard they don't really care because water is free at the park.
  11. Am I the only one who doesn't really care about all the rides? I want to ride all of them - reguardless of the stories I've heard/the accidents. It sounds awesome, and I am not scared to ride anything. Don't get me wrong, this is my first amusement park trip, so I have no clue what a real rollercoaster is like but by the videos it looks like I won't be too scared of them. I love rides like Drop Tower (rode the one at the fair, I was wondering how much taller this one is than the puny version) and fast rollercoasters. So, this won't be hard for me. I'll go on the rides without being budged, lol.
  12. Thanks guys. I was thinking a backpack for towels, swimsuits, flip flops, sunscreen, sunglasses, money/credit cards, keys, cellphone and extra clothing but I am highly considering taking a funny pack instead and leaving the backpack in the car for when I want to get some stuff out. Thanks for telling me how much the locker costs on the Firehawk, that was very helpful, I was wondering that myself. I will get a pair of cargo shorts with a button/zipper, thanks for that tip. It will hold the mini bottle of sunscreen I intend on buying, my cash/keys, gum, and sunglasses if needed. All comments are greatly appericiated because I need to know as much as possible for my trip.
  13. Thanks for the answers. I'll be sure not to put any gum/food/anything in my mouth while on rides.
  14. Sorry if this is not allowed here, I am new to this website. Is gum allowed at Kings Island? I am going with a Church group and want to bring some gum to occupy myself in those long lines and want to know if it is allowed before bringing some and being told I cannot. (I'm not going to spit it out on the rides or stick it to stuff.) Also, what is the basic list of things to bring? A backpack with essentials, I know. Food is not allowed in the park, etc. Just want to be prepared for this trip as it will be a big one.
