  1. Overall: I honestly see them getting a new "big show" in the KI Theatre, a new dog show in the International Showplace,  updates around the park, clearing some land for expansion, final year for Dinos Alive, a new event/promo or two & maybe even a new attraction in the motion theater behind WindSeeker.

Haunt: A new maze & show?

Winterfest: Maybe more lights & shows?

^unfortunately it seems to have been cancelled. At least there weren't any new episodes last fall. It sucks, because I really enjoyed that show.

It's still on SyFy. The current season is a all the former seasons winners competing against each other.

YEa the most I woudl expect to see woudl be some strands of garland and santa hats on some, but htink ti would help and be cool for the holiday season. Would be really nice if they did have some instrumental holiday music playing, especailly if found some tracks that were tweaked to a minor chord to make them more eerie for it.

I'm sure if there isn't a retrofit of the attraction happening it will be open.

I wouldn't count on any seasonal theming inserted to any extent.  It could complement the verse of the song 'Most Wonderful Time of the Year' that's says 'there'll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago...'  I never understood what that meant anyway.

It referred to A Christmas Carol.

Probably will, since it's Cirque, and they stated that they would have entertainment line up.

Sadly , they already announced the show line-up for this year (it's a stage show going in the KI Theater & a Snoopy ice skating show on the fountain). Hope they bring it next year!

  6. I asked an employee out front of The Viewing how long it takes (because escape rooms are typically not real quick) so I could plan for this Friday*. She said about 5 minutes, so my expectations are a little dashed. But I can give a full run down after I get to do it.

    * I won a pair of Fright Lane/Skeleton Key passes through the Catch a Ghost contest the park has been doing on Snapchat. I've been watching obsessively for the games to happen, and managed to catch one last Friday while I was sitting at Fright Feast! I'm very very excited, it will be the first time my husband has done most of the mazes at all and the first time for me on most of the Skeleton Key rooms.

    How was it?!

  8. Good to know that that stench is actually very necessary (because we don't want our beloved mazes to go up in flames!); I remember smelling it in Killmart (and a bit in Urgent Scare) when the KIC group went through 2 Fridays ago! Also, hoping to try Field of Screams and Blackout this Friday, along with another trip through the Bayou.

Also, Magenta Lizard, how was Field of Screams?

I wouldn't mind seeing DDD and/or Carnevil go up I'm flames ;) lol

Any word on The Viewing Skeleton Key experience?

  9. Will someone post some pics of this event?

Yes please! Sadly, I won't be able to make it out to Haunt this year, so I'll be living off pictures & videos (and obviously your guys' reviews, thoughts, etc.)

  10. The KI theater seems like an awfully big venue for a Skeleton Key unless, they will be taking many guests in at one time with specific times to view. It would be interesting in a theater setting. Hmmm I can picture the audience set up as a funeral viewing up close to the stage. What could possibly happen? Anyone want to speculated what will happen?

My guess it's a viewing for a play & things go completely wrong.

It starts with a pre-show in the actual theater then you would go backstage and exit out the back.
