He said 2017. Why would they announce Winterfest 1.5 years ahead of time? That can't possibly be it.

These are the same people who feel we have too many extreme rides. They're wrong on both parts.

Similar rides from GCI have cost $10 million.

If you watch the POV the shed is VERY near the station (on the right hand side as the POV leaves the station), almost right next to it. Not sure what kind of elements they could add that aren't like AE or maybe a mini dark ride... Here is the video of that part of the ride. It is backwards L shaped.

Upon seeing people discuss the Plants vs Zombies attraction I googled it and I might have to agree with you. It's not what I'm hoping for but it sounds realistic.

Mistaken indeed. What's in the shed was specifically said would not be revealed until Spring. He mentioned this attraction for 2017 would be announced mid August.

I see a lot of mention/assumption that the comment last night about a different ride each time is referring to the shed. Am I the only one who assumed they were referring to how The Beast rides differently at night vs day, hot vs warm vs cold, post rain vs dry? Because to me The Beast's differences are far more noticeable than most coasters and far more discussed. I assumed that's what he meant.

I heard it was a basketball game meets water cannons from White Water Canyon. You pay to peg people with basketballs in the shed.

I've seen some guesses here and the other thread mention Halloween Haunt or Winterfest. Keep in mind he did said two attractions for 2017. It wouldn't be likely to announce a Haunt attraction 1.25 years early and Winterfest (if it happened) would start in 2016 (if it was next year I doubt they would announce that 1.5 years early). I'd say it's rather safe to eliminate those options as well as a coaster. Also it's not likely a kids attraction or water park attraction.

I've experience the park to be dead and packed after the fireworks when they remain open till 12. Let's hope for you they're dead and not packed!

Okay guys I just talked to the Funnel Cake Guy (formerly Dippin Dots guy who was promoted for his integrity). He informed the new ride is a Giga Magnetic Launch Stand Up Wooden Dive Water Coaster. It's name is Charlie Brown's Spooky Splinter Splash.

They were discontinued in 2010 but you could still get them if you were there for a company picnic. Idk when they brought them back or if you can buy them at any food location but they sure were money makers back in the day. I got them last year (2015), 2014, and 2013 (I believe). Multiple times each season. I saw people talking about it on here one time and have done it ever since. I didn't get a pass this year but if I did I'd probably be adding 2016 to that list.
