  1. I loved QTV and it made sitting in line so much better of an experience.
  2. I direct messaged him/her since he/she is either ignoring the requests made or is not seeing them. Hopefully he'll/she'll see the direct message.
  3. Seriously, please do as you've been politely asked multiple times by multiple people and quit direct linking to the webcam. What you say never ever matches with what you're saying when someone sees it later on. Save the photo, upload it to a file sharing server, and link it in your posts from the file sharing server. If you can't do that ask for help. If you don't want to do that then just refrain from posting the link to the webcam.
  4. Agreed. I rarely noticed Stunt Crew Grille was open. First time last season I saw it open it was so dark and empty looking from the outside and everything walled off instead of open like it used to be. At first I assumed someone left the door open by mistake when we remodeling or whatever their purpose for going inside was. Ha. As a result I never once considered it as a viable eating option even when I knew it was legit open and I was in that part of the park.
  5. You wouldn't be able to see any lightning over in that circle while riding the ride unless you looked to the side and twisted your neck or if your in the front and only for a split second. Textured lightning and all lights will be somewhere within the confines of the actual ride where they enhance the ride experience. I don't think the textured lighting and lighting effects are for those riding the ride, but to entertain folks waiting to ride the ride, and for those lingering in the plaza....neat pre and post ride activity! That was my initial thought, but they are making a push to say how great of a night ride Banshee will be, so maybe the lighting effects will improve the ride experience as well. Agreed all of the information given to us so far implies it's part of the ride experience itself and not the surrounding area.

  7. It doesn't help that the Stunt Crew Grill doesn't look like it's even open when it is. Ha
  8. It's pretty obvious the circle is going to be home to the world record breaking world's smallest Zac Spin!!! It will be named Lil' Banshee. /sarcasm Worst idea ever.
  9. IMHO, of which I have zero inside knowledge of what is going to happen, the only plausible idea I've seen in this thread is the planters.
  10. Love unnecessary snark on these boards. It makes them such a friendly place.
  11. No chance. If you look where the circle is in the relation to the ride it'd be a horrible place for anything to do with it. You'd never see it directly if it was a light. You'd have to look to your side while going very fast. If it were the photo SO many people would get in the way and if they raised it that would be a waste of resources and a waste of walking space. Zero chance it's either one of these things.
  12. The circle looks to have nothing to do with texture lighting. Whoever thought that up appears to be grasping at straws.
  13. Here is the image that shows on the page now. You have to click on the option to buy the cup now and you'll see it on that page. I screen capped it and cropped the image.
  14. Is the first Smurf to your collection? Do you have any idea what happened to most of the pieces?
  15. If there will be any merchandise I intend to get a shirt or something next season
  16. I saw someone on here during the Banshee decoding thread mention that but then they said the original name was to be "Swoop". I found an old newspaper article that had the original name and it wasn't "Swoop" so I wasn't sure the validity of any of their information after that. Interesting though.
  17. I suspected you would respond with that but I went with it anyways. Ha So what was the last ride planned pre Paramount?
  18. I didn't expect them to cover it in the documentary but what is the final ride that was "planned" by the original ownership group? By planned I mean that they were owners when it was planned but it may have been built under Paramount.
  19. Just found this the other night. I was about to repost it but decided to do a forum search to make sure I wouldn't be making a double post.
  20. I hope that doesn't mean that it is equally boring.... I felt like the side of Gatekeeper has you next to the Beach on the lift hill was a far better ride than the other side because I felt like I had to keep raising my legs to avoid having them chopped off where as the opposite side was more relaxing. (I may have the sides backwards. Its the side that when you're loading in the station your closest to the entrance and furthest from the beach).
  21. The last piece wasn't being attached at 8:47am.. Nor is it even happening at 9:18 am haha It was on the crane being lined up at the time (the most recent piece) and looked larger than it really was. But enjoy your smug laughs.
  22. Last piece of the dive loop is being attached now!
