  6. thats funny
  7. And that was linked by Don on twitter as well... confused, I am. Probably means Jeff Gramke worked on some of the design aspects. World record wooden invert with wings?
  8. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20130802/NEWS01/308020050 "The new coasters designer also created The Beast, which has held the record as the worlds longest wooden roller coaster and has remained on the list of the worlds top wooden coasters since it was built in 1979."

  10. Did someone say Wing Coaster?
  11. It is a mispelling vacinity English[edit] Noun[edit]vacinity Common misspelling of vicinity.
  12. SPOILER going off the plans, i roughed in (very rough) the placement on google maps
  13. So something like this?
  14. With the help of terrain, tallest inversion?
  15. It's guesstimatable. You also have to account for elevation changes and loops. How can you tell just from video?
  16. And you know how? My wife made we watch that "Secret" thing, so im gonna use that.
  17. I think KI has one shot at World Record and that's length. They need 8400' to do it, and this might cut it. they aint gonna beat speed at 143mph, height at 460 and inversions at 15-16. Any one category will give world record status. did i mention that its a wing coaster?
  18. Never trust a man with 2 first names.
  19. real plans or not, still exciting as hell. to me it looked like it was pinned to the wall in a construction trailer, i want to know what the blue envelope was covering.....
  20. I know what he said. WING COASTER! could happen "any day" ...you don't need a menu after you place your order
  21. so the part you reference is onsite?
  22. I'm guessing Wing Coaster. Inverts tend to be rather compact, wing coasters have longer elements. oh and the plans look legit to me. This is an engineering plot for Foundation placement, not the actual coaster blueprints
  23. Just popped over to the park to see if there was anything to see. looks like they have an area in Action Zone, by the owl, that is sectioned off and currently has two stone formations, 1 is a rough pyramid shape the other is square-ish. Looking inside construction reveals what appears to be the mounting of an upright support to the foundation. The picture dosent show the color of the mount very well but from where i was, it looked to be like a dark slate color. Her is a link to my photo stream on Flickr to see the pictures i took. http://www.flickr.com/photos/94706696@N04/ - check out the originals for full resolution The first Picture is the service entrance from the parking lot, it looks like they JUST took down some rather large trees, perhaps to make room for something big to enter?
